Yeah...  I took that pic of green goddess the other day.  She was all like, "Oh, so you think eating animal products is funny?  hehe...  I eat "ANIMALS" like YOU for breakfast!"   

it IS a piece of cheese by the way.  It's cuz there was was this guy at the market plaza eating a sandwich and he was all like "Look!  If I eat my cheese the right way, I can make it look like a FACE!  Cool, huh?"

Just made a delish gs. Went to the markets in the weekend and bought some sugar cane juice with ginger and lime juice added. Have just blended about 1/4 of vitamix and diluted with water and added two silver beet leaves. Comes out a most brilliant bright green and really tasty.

Just made a gs with silverbeet, banana and mint pulp that had been marinating in agave for the mint and choc ice cream from Naked Chocolate book. That was quite tasty too.

I have just started to add soacked goji berries to my smoothies instead of dates . I am happy with the taste but I am getting alot of the little seeds . Am I soaking too long? I usually leave em over night?

Does anybody else throw goji berries into ther green smoothies??

Or maybe I am throwing too many in ? I havent really measured I d say about 1/4 or 1/3 cup something like that?

Hi Alegne,

I think seeds are a fact of life with goji berries.  I don't like seeds at all and don't eat passionfruit for that reason, but I do manage the goji seeds because they're so small.  I just think of how good they are for me and swallow them anyway.

Probably not the answer you were hoping for, but soaking does help soften it all somewhat.

They are yummy in smoothies... you can't escape the seeds though. Just enjoy them. I usually soak overnight... make sure you use the water too as so much of the flavour goes into the water.
