Ohh neety, your lovely glass and delicious gs all lost.  huh But how wonderful is raw, giving us the strength to see the bigger picture - after all, 'tis only a glass and some gs, so many people suffer so much every day. Imagine how angry a cooked foodie would get if someone accidentally threw away their leftover pizza or maccas!

You are so funny Neet! Reading this has brought back a memory from about a year ago. I had made pizza and had made my hubby and I an extra one each for lunch the next day. He has loads of jalapenos on his which I can't stand, other than that, they're the same. Well he ate my pizza didn't he... and I went ballistic! Ooops. Look back and laugh now.

I wouldn't do that now that I'm a CALM raw smoothie guzzling little fairy would I?

What are anybody's thoughts on how long you eat raw food for before you consider yourself 'raw'?

Here's the smoothie I make every morning (and I don't think it has too many funky ingredients...  cheesy)

1/2 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen fruit (berries, mango, grapes, etc.)
1/4 cup fresh squeezed orange juice (about 1 orange)
1/2-3/4 cup water (depending on how thick or runny you like it)
2 tsp raw honey or other natural raw sweetener
1 oz raw almonds (about 22)
ice

The almonds not only add some good protein and fat, but they make the smoothie very "creamy" tasting. I made this this morning with raspberries and it had a nice sweet-sour taste.

Mangos Blooming - Summers is grooving

that's a consistent and yummy smoothie i enjoyed today for Eastern as lunch,
after blending i strained it to separate the pulp you can use in other recipes:

1 quarter of Jackfruit
1 quarter of coconut flesh (+water)
3 dates
some fresh mint
water as desired

Enjoy the feeling!

Nofrontierstour46 that sounds like the most delicious smoothie I have ever seen the recipe for! Oh wow!!! It's going on my list to try. Did you use young or mature coconut flesh?

Yesterday I blended watermelon (with seeds) and mint. Basically one Vitamix jug of watermelon and a who bunch of mint. It was delicious.

Cheers,
Sheryl

good on us Sheryl!

i used a ripe coconut but imagine it good as well with a young coconut...

your watermelon sound delicious, try to add some juice of one or two limes to make it 'vibrant'...  smiley

Much Love
Iv

i made this Mango blend yesterday and found it worth to write down...

i called it 'Let go Blend' because of the amount of Prunes  smiley

haven't had any such symptons yet but felt a light cleansing reaction and a pleasent sensation in my body when i drunk it:

basic recipe is:

2 big ripe Mango
6-7 soaked prunes + water (even more)
some water

for a yummy alternative add:
4-5 pieces of Jackfruit
fresh mint

pass trough a strainer and let things go  smiley
