Oooo. I'll try the bit of celery in there. Sounds good. It's funny, I never liked celery before, but now that I'm raw I like it in smoothies. Never tried with banana though.

I really didn't like celery when I went raw either. But I got a suprise a few weeks ago when all of a sudden I was craving it and now it even smells different to me! Strangely enough... it smells creamy! Yummmm! I might try a creamy celery soup. Phwaor!

Good luck!

6 large tree-ripened nectarines
1 pile of romaine

This one is really doing it for me right now. I just made one. When I took my first sip I was all, "Oh baby! Oh man, Oh wow!"

Oooh nectarines sound yummy, I'm jealous! Can't wait for summer fruits again - especially juicy peaches.

Must share this green smoothie I made today, as it tasted completely different to any I'd made before:

4 kiwifruit
Juice of 1 lime
1 frozen banana
Big handful of rocket leaves

All I can say is:   ZING!!!!!!!!!!  yahh

This must've been the most energising GS I have ever drank - I think I was giving the morning coffee-drinkers a run for their money with bouncing off the walls.  So, be careful with it, but if you need an energy boost it's yummo!

Also I think I heard that kiwifruit actually have more Vitamin C than citrus fruit do, definitely a bonus in this wintery weather. So does chilli for that matter, but that's a bit spicy for me Smiley

I made a great smoothie today. I soaked a couple of handfuls of cashews and two vanilla beans in some water for about 1/2 an hour. Then I blended and added two punnets of delish strawbs. Yummmm!

MMM i just made the two p's in a pod i call it, pineapple and papaya. I thought ill share.

Fill the blender with  as much water as you want. I filled mine 1/2 way. Then i added half a papaya and as much pineapple as i wanted. Blend away and you have easy drinking baby food my daughter loved it.

Pineapple sweetens the papaya a little bit more. But if your a sweet tooth by any means add your sweetstuff but i think these two concoctions alone is sweet. Also if you like eating tonnes of fruit and you can handle it then by all means use the whole papaya and pineapple hehe. Dont need a banana for this recipe its already thick( easily drinkable) but it may add another zing to it. It also doubles up as a facial scrub to keep skin soft and smooth not that most rawdies need it(so scrape out whats left in the blender and put it on your face that way your not wasting it by washing it all away). To me it tastes like a version of mangoe hehe.

I put flax oil in mine dont ask me why and it was delish.

Yummmm! I am in smoothie heaven! I have just made my all time favourite smoothie. What's in it! Good question.

Water of a young coconut. (I have young coconuts here straight from the tree and sent to me.... so much fun getting them open!)
two mangoes  laugh
1/2 a bunch of spearmint
four large handfuls of spinach (baby)
2 large bananas.

Blend and drink. So delicious. Mmmmmm.

I have a new favorite.  One sip & I was hooked.  Sounds a bit of a combo, but it's good!

sweet baby spinach
pineapple juice & a little water
oranges
bananas
green seedless grapes

It's sweet and syrupy and tasty and summery and... I an spending every sip discerning a different fruit flavour Smiley  Yum!
