"You'll be winning your guest over with this luscious pie! Looking at the ingredients, it's easy to see why this is a very sweet and rich dessert, so I save this one for special occasions.
Crust:2 cups pecans
1/2 cup dates, pitted and soaked
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon vanilla
Filling:1 1/2 cups dates, pitted and soaked
1/2 cup pecans
1/3 cup honey*
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 macadamia nuts
1/2 cup water
Topping:1 cup pecans

For Crust:1. Blend pecans in a food processor until fine.
2. Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
3. Remove from processor and pat down into a pie plate.
For Filling:1. Place pecans in a food processor and blend until smooth.
2. Add in the remaining ingredients and blend until creamy.
3. Pour filling into pie crust.
* We used agave nectar instead
Topping:1. Place pecans decoratively on top of filling."
