I eat more than what I post here just too lazy to record it all and the salads are quite big but I think I'm eating too much fruit!

Day 7: I feel awful, so bloated and sore and I think it's the fruit, breakfast this morning was a mango, an orange and a handful of spinach blended. I had a piece of toast at morning tea to bind me a up a bit, I've been running to loo a lot and this morning it was green, talk about Shrek-like!  detox

I'm going back to Bircher muesli for brekky tomorrow.

Had a plain salad for lunch and a couple of bits of roast spud, snacks today were celery & carrot sticks with hommus and I'm still bloated so I took an inner health plus capsule to see if that brings some balance back.

I have no idea what to eat for dinner and I really don't feel like any food right now plus I'm getting a bit sick of salad. huh Too sore and tired to drag my bum off to the gym tonight so I'm going to slack off in front of the tv.

*sigh* here's hoping tomorrow is better.

Hi Sulis  laugh

I too began to get very tired of salads at first. have you looked at raw gourmet recipes? With simple tools and ingredients I made things like raw pasta that really helped when I was craving the normality of cooked dishes. A "pasta" dish can be as simple as:
pasta: zucchini, grated (by hand or with a food processer with grater attatchment)
sauce: blended/processed tomatoes, herbs, garlic, perhaps mushrooms
extras: you are probably used to having cheese so something fatty - avo, nuts or olive oil may help you feel at home with this "pasta".

Just an idea. Do you think it would help you if you thought of ways to prepare raw version of cooked meals that you enjoy? The raw versions seem to be much easier to prepare and with much less washing up!

Also a breakfast dish I am really loving is sprouted buckwheat "cereal".
Buckwheat kernals are so easy to sprout - just soak for 15 mins then leave them to sprout for 12 - 30 hours is my way.
Toppings could be a nut milk or orange juice, banana, dried fruit, other fresh fruit, coconut, nuts or seeds, carob - or whatever raw you like having in muesli usually.
Also did you know that rolled oats are by routine steamed in their process of rolling? So "raw" rolled oats are actually cooked.

Hope any of this helps you.
To your health and vigour!

Thanks for the info Jungle! I haven't looked at any raw gourmet stuff yet, I'm waiting for pay day as $$$ are tight right now.

Day: 8

The horrid bloat continues unabated and now I have thrush to boot. I am not a happy camper right now and I'm really tired too. I'm really struggling today!  detox
