I've been trying to post a reply to the topic in chat "there's a spray created for everything" and it won't let me. I can reply to other topics. This seems to be the only one I can't touch.

Here's the error message in red.

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /component/option,com_smf/Itemid,71/action,post2/start,30/board,11 on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I just checked again and it is working... it's just very slow. Something to do with that topic... can't see what. I think you are just timing out before it loads.

If you have something to say please start a new topic, or view them using 'recent posts' which seems to be fine.

I'll let you know if we fix it.

The database might have a small bug. I'll "give it a clean" and see if it helps..

argh - i have the same notice on the juice feasting thread...

I am trying to reply and this notice that Jen posted above is repeated to me over and over...i even tried leaving RP and coming back to the thread and the same thing is occuring...

I thought I'd be tricky and try my other main user name Raw Ipharadisi and post in the juice fasting thread, but still no go...it forbids me!

I even tried starting a new topic in the same forum so that my post could be at least read and included into the 92 day juice feasting thread, but the same notice appeared!  so strange...

I am able to post in other forums...

I'm now seeing this error when I try to reply to the following thread:

I tried to start a new topic in the "Chat" section -- but I got the same error...hmmm....

I was able to get around the problem ...After experimenting, I found this to work for me:

I had to re-type the text -- and make sure I wasn't copying and pasting the text (which I have done in the past but for some reason I hit problems this time). 

So my problem is resolved now.

I think sometimes the site is too busy, or the network is too busy... and people get that message. I've had it once or twice in the last months, but if I try again it works.

One thing you can do just in case is use <ctrl> a to highlight all and <ctrl> c to copy it to the clipboard. This is especially good if you do a really long post!

We'll keep monitoring this... do let me know if it keeps happening.

sheryl: it just happened again. again while trying to put an entry into my journal thread. both times ive tried copying my entry and pasting it into a new reply screen. its strange because the first time this happened it seemed to let me post things if i typed a new message, but if i pasted in the one that wouldnt work and tried to post it it would still give me the forbidden message. i hope that made sense to you lol, coz it makes no sense to me. and indications seem to be that the same is happening this time. how odd. i will try re-typing my message (this one isnt so huge, im trying to learn to restrain myself hehe) and see if that works....

aaaand...nope.. no go... even though i changed the wording of quite a lot of it. i'm out of ideas lol.

good luck with this one sheryl and piers. i hope we can get it sorted soon Smiley
