Ahh!!
I want to add another thing.
I have been raw for the past four years and I have never owned a deshydrator.
Is up to you but is not a necessary item to have in a raw kitchen.

My most used kitchen items are the knives to cut fruit and vegetables and the blender to prepare my green smoothies.
the other item I have which is not necessary but it is useful is a food processor.

Following a low fat diet turned my skin wafer thin and I was experiencing bouts of constipation. Including flaxseeds in my diet fixed that in record time. We need fats in our diets  and every person has different needs. I have always loved the creaminess of avocados with my salads and they always satisfy my hunger.

Nutritionists tell us that its the proteins that make us feel fulll, so include a higher protein source with your salads, nuts, seeds, etc. I favour bananas because each one has two grams of protein, which is quite high for a fruit. I average around 30grams a day of protein, according to Fitday. I am amazed how quickly it all add up.

Never stop eating if you are truly hungry. However try to find out if its just emotional hunger for the foods you no longer eat. Find a food that will fill you up, even if its cooked like a sweet potato eaten with your salad. Maybe you are transitioning to fast and your body is objecting to the rapid transition.

Relax and take it easy, changing our diets is one of the hardest things for humans to do. Sending you best wishes,

Joss
