:munch: Hey all, you may find the following interesting:

it's my way of using the pulp left after my a.m. juicing of carrot & apple,  take the pulp (from say 3 carrots & one apple) add one egg, tiny tiny amount of flour, blend together, spray a pan with olive oil, lighty cook only to set egg.
For savoury taste top with sliced avocado or tomato, or top with tahini.
For sweet taste, top with sliced banana or any fresh sliced raw fruit or simply spread with honey or yoghurt.

I know this is not raw, but it's an alternative way of using left over pulp bsides soup.

I have just made some and they are sooooo yummy.

LOL!

Not sure how much response you'll get putting a cooked recipe on a raw discussion forum but thanks for the contribution anyway Cunningham! The interesting thing here is that although these are cooked (which obviously damages nutrients) that the fact they're using fresh, whole, minimally processed (other than the cooking) foods still puts these way ahead of just about anything you could buy in a store nutritionally.

Yes, raw is important, but the underlying most important factor of all is always how unprocessed and close to the natural balance are foods. This is why it's possible for a highly processed junk food vegan to sometimes be less healthy than an organic, wholefoods, 10% cooked "mainstream" person. The aim is always a natural, unprocessed diet that balances with our emotional needs.

Thanks Cunningham for sharing!
