Last week had a few raw buddies over for dinner. Was loads of fun "cooking" for 'em!

Thought I'd share a few piccies!!

Coconut water - straight outta da coconut!

Young coconut flesh - scooped outta da coconut.

Blended coconut flesh/water - blended together makes coconut cream! I've been told if you blend the mature coconut it will be even creamier, as it is mostly fat, and not much water.

Basil - yum.

Making the pesto - basically, half a cup of olive oil, a bunch of basil, about 2 cups of pine nuts. Oh, a few cloves of garlic too!

The spiraliser! - that fun tool that turns zucchini into pasta!

Carrot - in the food processor, to be turned into the "meat" for the bolognase.

Raw pasta - made with zucchini of course!

Frozen durian

Dates and durian! - yummo!! Basically, chucked two durian's flesh into the food processor with about 7 banana's and two handful of dates.... turns into icecream!!

Spaghetti bolognase - easy stuff! Zucchini for the pasta, then processed up carrot, plus an olive/tomato sauce and um.. I think that was it!

The durian icecream! - photo is a bit blue tinged, but yeah, this icecream was amazing! Please try at home!!

Awesome food, awesome friends, even had some salsa dancing to finish the night off!

Well, it's just an idea (another one rolleyes) flying around in the air at present. The idea was I come over before pea ventured out overseas. I started getting inspired to come and live in Adelaide for a while. But that could just be little dreamer Lou, we'll see  cheesy There maybe a nutrition course starting up in Hobart mid-year...so depends whether I feel I need to slog through that and work etc...

Thanks for the inspiration for dinner Pea. I'm meeting up with a friend today, for an all raw dinner tonight!! She's gone out and got some young coconut too. Great minds think alike cheesy Was thinking about some kinda Thai Style dinner...hmm...deelish!!

I'm sure everyone will fit!

Jennie... I don't add the photos like you might possibly be doing.. ie, I upload them to a separate website (I think www.photoisland.com or something like that) and then just put the link onto my post. does that make sense? so instead of uploading them to rawpleasure, i put them on a separate photo hosting website. then i can probs add tonnes of photos to the one post! hehe Smiley try it! there's heaps of photo hosting websites that are free, free, free!
