So this isn't technially me celebrating a raw success... but a bike success!

Today I clocked in at 80km! That's the most riding I've ever done in one day! Yay! It just happens I was fuelled on raw food (of course!).

Left the house at 7am to meet some older guys and rode with them down to the beach. At one point they left me to do some yoga along the river. I had a great time... stretching my body out... watching swimmers in a triathlon. Then I hear a noise behind me and it's cyclists started riding by. Wow. I can't describe what it was like. I was just in total awe of their bodies. Amazing. So tuned, so defined, muscly.. just incredible!!

We continued riding, then I met up with some kids (lots of kids, maybe 40 +) for a "fun" ride. Rode with the group and played mad games along the way.

Finished the day by riding to get some yummy organic dates, celery and bananas.

Soon will aim for a 100km day!

remember this time last year when you were riding the death trap! lol!

quality fuel provides quality endurance!

all that bike touring in tassie is catching up with you. its provided you with a base fitness that now is just gonna expand..when we push ourselves out of our comfort zone and then allow for recovery, then we reach new levels.

how fit are you gonna be this time next year?

youve done 100
150 is calling
your speedo is calling
your bike is calling
the roads are calling
your knees maybe balling but pain goes and epic ride memories last forever.

go big. drink big. eat big fruit the day before and set out the door.
when the going gets tuff, remember your fueled on the best stuff.
imagine how could its going to feel when you tell people you can ride 150km...solo!

smash it!

yah.. i'm abit caught up.. should it be a straight 150km ride? or just 150km in a day? cos 150km in one go seems like a lot, but of course its possible! yes.. all of those things are calling for me... everytime i get a ride lately i just wanna keep going and going.. but i dont! grr! too many places to go to at the moment. this week for sure!

the only time i ride that far straight is in races and we pee on the bike...lol!

so if you stop to pee pea..then its not straight thru..but we aint straight people so straight thru doesnt matter. what matters is at the end of the day youve riden 150km. a day is 24 hours. 150km in 24 hours is 150 in a day..either way.

you think i stopped to eat and take in the view when i did 515km in a day? heck yeah!
