hey girl,i use to get these badly when i ate lots and lots of fruit and had fairly high fat at the same time...or wheni was eating all fruit and not enough of it,and not eating greens and celery to balance....too much fat would make my eyes puffy and have killer dark circles....and it didnt matter how much sleep i got....

now 811rv,no probs, and even 37 hours without sleep i still had clear eyes and no circles or bags...awesome...

see how you go with this, also hydration is really important for preventing dark circles...exercise to oxygenate your skin is another biggie...and sleeeeep!!

Eating lots of fat is something I am super guilty of (hence my sn AGUACATE!)

man, just thinking of an avocado makes me salavate...  It's almost like a lust.   cheesy

I eat a lot of fruits and a lot of greens, too.  I just eat a lot period.   lol

I just got dr graham's book.  I have read quite a few books on nutrition, and I have not been this inspired by a book in a LONG time.  I'm very thankful I got it.

I haven't started the new lifestyle transition yet.  I just started reading the book a couple days ago, and I'm almost done.  I had NO IDEA I was eating soooooo much fat.  man.  I'm surprised I'm not obese by now.

I definitely need to take care of myself more and balance out the sleep.

I can't wait to start now for sure!!

I am shifting my thoughts now of 'I am sure going to miss that oily avocado goodness' to 'I am looking foward to my new more vital health!'

Woke up this morning dehydrated.  Yuck.  I've had enough is what i feel like.

I beat myself up and I am really hard on myself sometimes, but in the past few years I have really come a long way healthwise and I think I should concentrate more on congratulating myself sometimes rather then kick myself down.  Even if I have made 'mistakes' I have learned so much on my journey and that is priceless.

Just out of curiosity, what do you eat on a typical day, and how much do you exercise?  You look so vibrant.

Thank you for the reply.

In general, dark circles = too much potassium  (fruit, like bananas, dates etc) or not enuff sleep.

In general, puffy eyes = too much sodium  (greens, celery, salt)

sometimes our eyes arent the way we would like them looking in the morn. i find if im sleeping in the bush, and get a bit of dirt in my eyes overnight i awake with itchy eyes. this passes very quickly however with a little jog or bike ride.

thats the beauty of morning exercise. it exercises our true beauty.

Try Estee Lauder under Eye Circle Cream, I used a tester at Auckland airport and noticed a big improvment when I arrived 10 or so hours later in Vancouver. Try a tester first at a dept store.
