I recently looked at a David Wolfe video and he says that bananas are high sugar and law minerals. Also he says a real banana is one with black seeds huh Huh

Anybody know about this?
Man I can't live without my frozen bananas in my green smoothies  smiley .

I have never seen bananas on the market with black seeds.or are they only found in the tropics??

If anyone knows it would be great!
Cheers

We just had a bunch of lady finger bananas come ripe in our back yard... they where divine.. and they had little black seeds in them when i cut them in half... if the kids have left any behind i will take a picture and add it to see if they are the right seeds.... they are very small.

At a friends house there are bananas his grandmother planted about 40 years ago. Most of them have small black seeds. I think it all depends on the type and how old the strain is. I know they were particularly tasty bananas.

how rare are they?

bananas make me kind of hungry.  they give me this heavy feeling in my stomach, but it feels like a bunch of fluff.  Bananas feel like they should be more grounding then they actually are.  idk...  sometimes i love bananas, sometimes I don't care for them at all.

bananas..cheapest most nutritious calorie on the planet. spotted bananas at the shop are either free or close too.

some varieties go seedless by em selves. banana plants dont need seeds to reproduce. dr doug is a banana prophet and ive enjoyed his banana bending stories.

i eat em every day thru the year, worldwide.

banana is an easy staple to obtain for the raw person/family. banana and celery smoothie is the ultimate recovery drink after a walk, run or whatever.

they digest so well. ripe bananas are so soothing to the digestive tract. plenty of bulk to ease things thru.

my fav are the seeded varieties in east thailand, and the seedless lemon banana ive had in cape tribulation northern australia.

be careful with your teeth eating banana seeds..like carob seeds, they can split a tooth.

I try to ignore the food analysists to an extent. Our bodies, when in tune, are such clever little things. We instinctively know what it needs and what it doesn't.
I know that living on bananas only for long periods of time would not be beneficial and our body would tell they were no longer serving us.
One or two a day is fine and I feel good when I eat them.
Plus my children would be very upset at Mr Wolfe if they wern't allowed to eat them. cheesy
