Hi All

It occured to me that we have a terrific recepie book on line. WHy don't we get together good raw beauty recepies. Common gals lets get the finger out !!! ( ok guys too  cheesy can be included) .hehehe I remember Piers once recommended to use Aloe vera as a shaving cream.
It would be fun the craete natural recepie remedy book of some kind .
What are your thoughts.?

I would loveee any remedies for hair  afro !

My 2fav personnel beauty recepies are scrubs.
Body Scrub ( say 1 cup sea salt and olive oil blend into a paste and add fav essentila oils) presto terrific body scrub . Use as soap in shower and rinse well! Srummy soft skin!

Hand scrub is Sugar with lemmon juice wash hands with this untill sugar crystals start to dissolve then rinse hands ...super soft hands!

Also strawberries make the madest exfolient ....you lknow that blackhead area around the nose . The graininess of the strawberry ddoes wonders!

Great idea, Alegne

I too use the salt and olive mixture.  That feels SOOOO nice afterwards.

And thanks for the lemon and sugar mixture.....I'll give that a try next.....I've got to make use of the sugar I have in the household cheesy

Not only can you use the leftover pulp in recipes after making nutmilk, I simply use it for an all over body scrub and then just rinse off.  It feels great.  Any nut will do.  Maybe it's more to do with how I think I feel, but if it feels good, and it won't hurt. cheesy cheesy

seriously you cant beat loads of juicy fruits for fabulous skin, hard lung pumping training and sunshine oh and cold showers lol...everytime i dive into a cold shower i say to my self in a positive tone, everything is a worthwhile discipline, think perky breasts and toned skin...lol...

natural organic rosehip oil rocks for the skin on the face...pure calendula cream is delicious as a cream for face and esp after sunbathing/sungazing....

a mask of mashed bananas is awesome leave on 15 mins...
gently rub cucumber pulp all over face to exfoliate and tone pores and absorb excess oils in the skin and leave skin clear and fresh....
rub papaya paw paw or pineapple over skinfor a natural fruit acid exfoliator with none of the nasty sideeffects, thinning skin and sun sensitivity being amongst them

oh and for rosy lips and glowing skin...good heart pumping love making is awesome... evil

remember SLEEP is our number one beauty secret

 kiss :wub:RawGreen Goddess

Yes in the summer time to do the hot shower followed by the bliz of cold water.

Sleep unfortunately is my downfall.
You indeed are the prime example of beautifull person both in and out!
You latest photo you look wonderfull!
You blue eyes are evern bluer than normal!!
I think you have reached "Z" with your raw journey poor folk like myself are still on trainers "ABCsss"  cheesy .

Everyday do you use any commercial product to cleanese?
I used to be a product junckie evern natural stuff don't work and you are right its what we eat. But you knowww human spirit we all like that instant formulae that works. If I had the spare time on my hands I would make all my natural products and keep in the fridge that would be my ideal one day!!

Anyhow got to skoot  kiss kiss

i use plain coconut oil on my face and body to cleanse and moisturize.  Sometimes I use honey on my face before the coco oil.  the honey makes my face look and feel clearer/cleaner.  the coco oil makes it super moist and soft.

Sometimes I use coco oil in my hair in the shower to give it moisture.

I have also used coco oil in my hair like as a grease type product.

by the way who took the pics for the recipe book?  they're awesome.

At Tropical Fruit World they actually suggest rubbing the inside of the peel on your skin... so you can eat it AND use it. Apparently the very outside of the flesh (the greenest part) is the part shown highest in all kinds of good for your skin compounds.
