Hi, all the lovely rawfoodists

I am looking to buy a bigger blender for gs. It will have to make at least 1 litre in one go, and no food will stay unblended at the bottom of the jug. I am not ready for a Vitamax. Right now, i am using the personal blender the volume of which is not enough for 2 people here. I am so glad that my father also loves gs. We might all go for mini detox.

I would appreciate any idea. Many thanks.

vita mix is the summit. you will save thousands on your food bill over a few years. how much does it cost to make raw cheeses, crackers, dips, smoothies, soups, buckwheat flours..

youll save thousands.

one day youll get a knock at the door, and youll look down and see your vita mix asking you for money! lol!

Hi lovefood,

Welcome to the forum. I hope you learn a lot here as I have! I asked this question a few months ago. Someone put me onto the Breville Optimax. It's really good for GS. I can't say much about the other foods that DR mentioned but as I said great for GS. It was recommended to me by someone from this forum. It's about $85 from Kmart, D.Jones. It makes a litre and the only food I've had get stuck at the bottom was some dates. But it only does that when I'm making nut milk. I think the warranty was two years which gives me plenty of time to save for my vitamix!  cheesy

Hey lovefood Smiley

I have a Sunbeam Cafe Series 1000 watt blender, which I love. I think Neet has one of these too. It blends things really well, nice and smooth. A part from lots of smoothie endevours. I have made a cheesecake (nut) filling in it, which was a great success! It has a 2 litre capacity and the sides of the jug are straight...making it super easy to scrape the sides down. I was blessed to have 2 gift vouchers which paid for it at Myer...but I think it cost around $180.

Happy blender shopping :D
