Thanks to all of you, a big hugs. It seems i am the only one asking sooooo many questions on this forum. hahahaaa!

1/  i am reading through some other raw food books and found they suggest sprouted grains. I have heard of cooked grains, but how can grains be sprouted? Can i buy grains that CAN be sprouted in health food stores? How to sprout them? i have no idea at all. They look like the Moon and the Mars for me--just out of this planet!

i went back home today after consuming some cooked food at my friends' place. They provide this food and i just want to make myself fit in. i don't want to explain why and how as i am still new on raw. i also don't want to arouse too many negative response even though i look a little bit better than before. I am already getting negative attention at home already. Too sick of it.

2/ My question is: Will eating some cooked food during the week undo the detoxing of raw food? Will they balance out each other? The cooked food tasted ok, sometimes terribly salty. It's just they don't look like real food. They looked like a lady putting on too much foundation and cosemtics that i couldn't recognise the real appearance. Also, i hate the feeling to get approval so much, but cannot come to a conclusion of how to tell my friends??!!

So, my conculsion is that raw diet is not just a diet--it is a diet of physical being and mental being as well as spiritual being.

3/  One weird question: Were some saints raw in history?

sprouted grains taste like cooked ones. boring! lol!
its the sauces we like. often my dinner is a 2litre jug of raw sauce. pour that over some shredded cauli. and you have the original rice n sauce. or get a spiralizer and make your own raw pasta. the raw pasta realm is one of great fun!

and we dont feel heavy and bloated and in regret afterwards! we are nourished and our friends are amazed at our creativity or shocked and go to fasta pasta afterwards..lol!

cooked pasta is a disaster. fruit spends minutes in the stomach and about 18 hours in the digestive tracts. it provides more energy per calorie consumed than starches, which spend up to 12 hours in the stomach and 3 days in our body.
complex carbs..complex to digest. simple sugars in fruit, help keep life simply sweet!

would you expect your friends you eat your food just to fit in with you? cos they dont expect you to eat it to fit in with them. thats just something we make up in our head. and if it is true and people want us to eat slop to fit in then prehaps we are better spending our time elsewhere or educating them first on the importance of quality cuisine.

does smoking undo the detoxing effect of exercise? will they balance out each other?
cooked food tastes ok. raw food tastes killer!
i enjoy the fresh palate after a fresh raw feast.

jesus was a raw vegan. can you imagine the son of the porsche going out an buying daewoo?
can you imagine confusicous, buddha etc eating swine fodder when the fruits of the gods are on offer?
me either.

famous roman quote "give them grains and meaningless games, and there will be no revolution"

read dr dougs book 'grain damage'. will take you 20 mins and youll have a fresh outlook on half baked ideas of the past.

try as we might, grains are just not natural food for humans. all you can eat wheat in the field? grabbing handfuls of rice from the paddy and trying to slam it down?

we would starve before we could make a meal out of grains in nature.

gluten found in grains is a well know causative factor in several psychoses and neurological disorders. screaming kids, moody adults, fatigue, mental fog, happy one minute depressed the next..all symptoms of what happens when we try and eat food that is not food for humans.

as someone whom cycles around the world, i was defensive of my grain addiction. i ate grains every meal without exception. up to 2 loaves of bread, a kg dry weight of pasta and muesli bars and biscuits in between, for a single day!
but eventually i woke up and listened to mother nature and started my fruit adventures.

when we associate less pleasure and more pain to grain..we are well aboard the fruit train.
