1. Make sure that you've registered / logged in! If the forum is letting you post or reply, then you've got this covered. Smiley

2. Click on "My Controls" up the top of this page.

3. Select "Edit Avatar" from the bottom left corner under "Personal Profile".

4. Either paste in a link to a photo of yourself online, or click on "Browse" to pick one from on your computer and click "Update Avatar".

You're done!

NOTE: If you're photo is larger than 80x80 pixels it will be scaled down, so our members on slower internet connections can still read at a good pace. We also appreciate using a real photo of yourself (instead of say... Tom Cruise / Pamela Anderson / an Alien) so everyone can get to know each other. You can always change the picture later when you've got a sexier one! Wink

Enjoy and thanks for uploading and making these forums a friendlier place to visit!

Hi Piers

I put my photo on as you said and I notice that it only comes up on my personal profile page. Is that correct?? I wondered if they were supposed to come up next to each post as it does not seem to be doing that. Was not sure though if that is how it should work.

Have a great day

Hey Squiddly

My oops! I got "Personal photo" and "Avatar" mixed up. Personal photo is just the photo for when people look at your profile. The avatar is what shows up next to all of your posts. The choice I *should* have put was "Edit Personal Avatar". I've altered that in the original post, so the instructions above are now accurate.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention!

Cheers!
