Macadamia Cream
1 1/2 cups Macadamias (preferably organic and freshly cracked)
1/2 cup Pine nuts (`option`al)
1/2 cup Agave syrup / soaked dates blended with water
Water (or `option`ally orange juice)
Pinch of cinnamon (organic)
1 Small squirt of lemon (`option`al)
Blend all ingredients bar water together until they form a smooth paste. Slowly add water until the mixture gains an easily “pour-able” (but not watery) consistency. Taste to make sure the flavour is good, adjusting to taste.
You can either use as is or if your mixture is thin enough but still lumpy, you can even strain it through a nutmilk bag to give a smoother finish.
Goes great with raw cereal or smoothies!
