Hi BB. I love food photos! I love love love the look of the apple pie. I'm going to try and make it tonight! Thanks so much for the effort you put into your posts.

50kg... You can do it! I have no doubt about it. The line "eating myself into a grave" really touched something in me. I'm so sorry for your lost baby. Was this the beginning of the eating into grave?

I wish I could give you a big hug. I'm loving your journal. I'll take more food photos too ok?

Love and kisses

yahh  You are one funky chick, BerryBliss!

It's bad enough that I get caught drooling onto the corner of my pillow at night!....Now you got me drooling at the food photos.

Lickity Split.......it really looks schmick!  Yum Yum.

I can relate to the weight too.  I remember being 'Once-upon-a-time' when I was a svelte 55kgs.

Now I'm somewhere in the 90kg range.  I'm not sure.  I've been to squeemish to step on a scale.  But I do know my tummy is like that of a pregnant woman.

So yeah.....I have a good 35-40kgs to lose.
But I have been keeping away from all 'diet mentality' because it's such a crippling thing.

I am can be an obsessive person and used to obsess over the numbers of what I've lost and not lost.
I laugh at it all now because I have lost my body weight nearly 3 times through out my life through dieting and it's not funny.

It all comes under to 'Deprivation' catagory to me now.
Now that's FOREVER gone.  Raw eating is freedom.  No calorie this or that.
Perhaps just a quick glimpse here or there to see if we eat enough in the right ratio.

But that's all sane stuff.
WAY TO GO BerryBliss on the gym joining.  Have fun.
I too was a gym junkie and still do love it and get pumped just thinking about joining.

But ...Now I'm trying to take the time to take it out doors and do yoga, meditate and Myokenetics.

I am so proud of you BerryBliss.  You are doing great.  Keep the internal passionate fire burning.  You go girl.

PLEASE CLICK THE PICTURE ABOVE THIS... yahh

Thought I would try something different and play around with photobucket...cool hey!

For those of you with slow connections I will post pictures too.

This is what I ate today...

Breakfast:
1/2 a grapefruit
Bunch of red grapes and a banana

Lunch:
Sliced banana and strawberries with a little cashew creme and nut mix from yesterday
Ice cold young coconut juice

Dinner:
Seaweed and Lotus root soup
Carrot and sprouted wheat salad
Strawberry and pineapple with mint salad

Later:
A few thin slices of frozen Durian
a few frozen raspberries and blueberries

(All my meals are small portions)

I worked up quite a appetite today, I did heaps of walking...3 hours in total, pushing a double pram laden with yummy asain greens, on my walk I discovered 2 new organic shops that I noted for my list of contacts!

Thankyou so much for the wonderful support you all are giving me, it means so much to me...to know, I have you guys and gals for encouragement!

Nudgy...we can do this, you support me and i will support you, you sound so much like me, this will be my 3rd time in losing this weight too, I am sick of the up and down, up and down...yoyo syndrome!
With this raw lifestyle, we can keep it off for good, and you are sooo RIGHT...with raw, there is no guilt about what you are eating, everything you eat tastes and feels good and is great for you...I am so excited and so happy, I have not felt this proud of myself...ever...it feels so good to be doing something for myself.

Rawsensation...I lost my baby in March, it was so painful, I am hoping that by my inner being more healthy I will be able to conceive quicker and not have to use all those chemist pregnancy vitamins...getting enough naturally with lots of fresh raw foods.
Thankyou for the offer of the hug...heres one for you (((((((((((((hug)))))))))))))

Eating myself into the grave began after the birth of baby #2...I was house bound with another little child, I just couldnt fine the time, and I didnt make the time for myself, so busy was I, I would wake in the morning and grab "whatever" to eat...be it leftovers from dinner or biscuits/sweet/chips...I told myself that i didnt have the time to sit and have breakfast...which on some occasions was true...but now, with raw you can just munch on fruit, whilst being busy.
I guess it all started form then on...here is a pic of me 3 years ago...

and me now...

..(this is actually a nice pic of me!)...My face is so round, and I look sick...I will now go and take my measurements, because I want to track my change of shape...I will post them for all to see and watch them go down each month...I can wait!

I will also take a full body pic and post here too...

see you soon...

Dried seaweed

Soaked seaweed in rain water

Nice hydrated Kelp

Into my raw soup with Lotus root, beansrouts and baby spinnach

Sprouted wheat and grated carrot with curried sesame seeds and diced tomato

My Goodness BB! You are beeeeeeoooootiful! If you could see yourself through someone elses eyes... your cheekbones are awesome.*jelous* I was on holiday when God gave out cheekbones but I have great eyes so people don't notice!

Is the lotus root the wagon wheel looking stuff? It looks fabbo! And the seaweed? What type is it do you know and where did you buy it?

I loved clicking on the link and seeing what you had done with your photos. Awesome. I like you. You are a very interesting person.

Pea, you are becoming the raw friend to Adelaide! Good on you girl. I want to do a raw tour of Aussie land and meet all the rawbies. How fun would that be?

OK...here goes, I said I wanted to post my measurements and pictures to track my healthier "Me" as she emerges from her cocoon...well...*big breath in*...here I am...

These pictures were taken this morning in my PJ's...

My measurements:

Bust: 127cm
Waist: 119cm
Hips: 136cm
Thigh: 76cm
Arm: 43cm
Calf: 46cm

I have been 100% raw for 3 weeks now, I do not know my weight, I more so want to go by size and muscle tone.

These pictures are quite confronting, because you dont realize what you look like...well I know I am big...but now, well...lets say I am so happy that I am on this path back to health and life. I hope these pictures will help others to have the courage to admitt they need to change. Please feel welcome to post your own pictures here, no one will laugh, we are here to help eachother. Actually, my daughter took these pictures for me this morning, now I can see, how she see's me everyday...YES time to change and truely live my life...to be an example to my children.

I will measure myself again and repeat the pictures in the samee clothes in the same place, each month..I am so looking forward to seeing the incrediable shrinking me!!

Anyhow, please indulge me as I post a feel good picture of me up...my beginning journey of 100% raw

Phew, just wanted to put a nice one up too

I made my mother lunch today, and she was delighted in the taste and look of what I had prepared...

Peeled zucchini
chopped tomato
chopped sun dried tomato
spring onion
pine nuts
torn parsley
minced garlic
oregano
rosemary
thyme
and a TINY drizzle of olive oil

3 bananas
1/4 blueberries
raspberries for garnish

I also tasted my first rejuvelac and drank two little glasses...tasted slightly fizzy amd sweet, in a grassy kind of way, not unpleasent at all.

Heres a site you can look at and learn more and make your own opinion for yourself...

http://www.hishealingways.com/rejuvelac/makerejuvelac.html

http://www.growyouthful.com/toc11rejuvelac.php
anyhow, I will finish this post tonight with more recipes from today...

Love to you all

Hi BB welcome and thanks for be so open and sharing.  All the very best on your raw journey and keep those wonderful pictures coming...both of yourself and the food.

Just wanted to mention you have beautiful curly hair.  Just wondering what products you use in your hair to define the curl.  I know this might sound strange but I too have curly hair and am always searching for new products that give me the best definition without the frizz...and still searching.
