That sounds nice Frangi...

Tonight I had a salad of cos lettuce, grated carrot, with a dressing of blended cashews and soaked dried tomatoes. Simple and yummy. It was going to be a complicated salad but I just couldn't be bothered!

I have just had a packet of Smith's Gravy flavoured chips.......yes, very un-raw I know. Saw them in the shops weeks ago and finally decided to give them a go. Expected to hate them very much indeed (OMG - you should see the yucky artificial ingredients) but surprisingly they were quite tasty and very moreish.

Last week I tried the Red Rock Deli Seasoned Roasted Garlic crisps and they were sensational, really lovely and really moreish.

I very rarely eat crisps as I find them too greasy, too artificial tasting and with too much MSG.

However, I liked the Seasoned Roasted Garlic crisps so much that I am going to try and re-create a raw version of them once I get my dehydrator.

I had a perfectly ripe black sapote from the asian grocer in the Valley. The only one too.

My flatmate didn't know what it was sitting in the fruit bowl and had to 'touch it' out of curiousity!

I like eating them with the skin like an apple....

Ooh sun lover, that sounds mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! I once took one to a friends home and she chucked it in the bin thinking it was rotten! Lucky she had just changed the bin bag so I could still eat it!

I was dreaming of Black Russian tomatoes last night!

Before I squeezed 3kg of organic navel orange juice and munched on a few organic asparagus stalks which tasted of sesame sooo good I just ordered a 7kg box for friends and I!

Decided to try juicing cucmber, expecting to hate it and would it make me gag?

NO WAY!

I loved it - I dusted off my juicer and decided that I will juice my greens for a while instead of blending them.

Blending greens so far has made me a little nauseous. But I never know what to do with the left over fibre - it seems like such a waste of good stuff!

Anyway - longwinded way of saying I'm munching on (slurping, perhaps??)
cucumber juice!
