Hi Wren,

I'm in the UK and raw and happy and fabulous!!!  ohyeah

Just popped in and saw your post which excited me. Not spending much time on the forum these days, though it's been a wonderful resource for me the past year or so. I'm trying to build up links in the UK now and get more active about raw veganism. Want to get fact sheets together and maybe do some workshops. Also want to incorporate some of what I've learnt in my lectures (sociology - gonna call it sociology of food!)

There's a new forum in the UK I've started to take part in which needs members. Not trying to poach anyone - RP is amazing and an invaluable source of support. Let me know if you're interested, though. Hoping we'll be able to have some potlucks and picnics to rival the aussie ones!

Love, ggxx

Hi Becks,

Good to see you, too! I was wondering how you were getting on. Impressed at your half marathon training. I had planned to run the Leek one in late August, I'm just not ready for it yet, though. The school holidays have set my training back considerably. Had got up to seven miles a few weeks ago (including a v steep hill which I'm incredibly proud of having conquered!!) but haven't had the time/childcare to sustain it. Will keep at it - definitely a goal I want to achieve!

Will pm you.

Wren, I was there!!! I saw Gina Panayi do the Raw Greek Food demo, I saw Kate Wood and Peter Pure-the rest of the time I hung out with people and ate too much food-oh the food!!! YUM-Had some durian too. Well, What do you look like then? I was wearing a green cardi, green baby doll dress and a pair of jeans and on Sunday, I could be seen with a small blonde three year old. On Saturday, I was blissfully on my own.
