definately Michaela.  I had thought about buying the chi running dvd's etc but I would rather learn from the pro.

I noticed that some are interested in a ChiRunning clinic in W.A .... well guess what, a small 6 hour clinic is set up for July 12th 2008 at Langley Park, Perth. Some places are  available, so if you want to make it, check in on my site pretty soon!

The Chi running clinic in Nerang was fantastic, as was Jennie's raw food talk!  I have been dabling in raw food and green smoothies since, I am trying to educate myself so I can go totally raw in the near future. 

I only have a blender, and I am not sure if I need a dehydrator as well to start.

Also, do I need to buy the "supefoods" or should I just eat lots of vegies and nuts?

Hey Dbass !
Thanks for enjoying it, i hope that your ChiRunning is progressing, (which i am sure it is!) ohyeah

I reckon the best way to go is to experiment with smoothies, and add superfoods into the smoothies as well, as well as expereimenting with salads and other raw food concotions (as there are sooo many!)  and use organic as much as poss!
Also read a little more about raw food, what a hydrator can do for you... look at recipes and the possibilities that it offers you as well.
We got a hydrator a few months after being raw and it extends a lot of the possibilities that you can enjoy with raw food.
However there are also sooo many different things that you can do with just fresh organic fruit and veggies, sprouted grains etc, etc that sometimnes a hydrator is not necessary straight away...

Read up as much as you can from guys like David Wolfe (in particular the sunfood diet), read the rainbow green live- food cuisine by Gabriel Cousens as well... lots of great info there to help you find facts and helpful interesting  insights to the raw food life style.

And congratulations on making a start and starting to experiment with raw food. I am really pleased for you! Above all remember to enjoy, take your time and just like ChiRunning...gradual progress!

Hi all,

I am not allowed to exercise right now. Have been to doctors and adrenals knackered. because I am feeling even more tired after a walk/run than before I am only allowed short bursts of exercise during the day to get my heart rate up a little but not fatigue me. No marathon for me next weekend.  Sad I have donated my running stuff to Sacha... Have fun Jennie/Sach!

DBass! I didn't recognise you when I welcomed you. Probably because I couldn't see your face in your avatar. LOL. You are awesome. I'd love to catch up with you again.

WOW to the videos Jen. You went from a tentative uncertain runner to one with a form that shouts "I AM A RUNNER AND LOVE IT". It's a great testimonial to Chi Running and a great reminder to us all that professional / knowledgeable help to improve in our lives can save years of work. Piers and I just outfitted a weight gym and I will definitely be getting someone in to show me the ropes. I feel like I know... but it's amazing how small tweaks in form can maked the experience so much better.

Hey Jen, I would love to check out your style in the videos you posted as I am trying to get this chi running thing happening for me but I can't see them.  When I click on them, the photobucket window opens but then the photobucket logo just keeps flashing on screen.  Do you know if there is any other way of viewing them?
