Everything does happen for a reason.

The fact that any individual does not understand that or chooses to dismiss it or not believe is completely irrelevant to the reality of it. But sure...anyone simply saying "everything happens for a reason" is offering nothing of any real value and most likely doesn't even comprehend the real truth of their own words.

Expand for a minute and come on a lil journey....

Let's fly off into space for a minute and observe the Earth...Look at the sun...a kilometre or two closer or further away from it and we wouldn't exist....look at Jupiter...a massive planet who's intense gravitational pull keeps us safe from many asteroid impacts...Look around this little Universe we call home...everything is in perfect balance....perfect balance...small deviations within this little cosmos and we do not exist.

Think about it...

Get it into perspective....life is so exquisitely balanced....

Chance?

Many choose to believe it's all a chance lottery because then they don't have to delve any deeper.

That yearning within you....that void....that seeking....that ultimately insatiable hunger...

What do you think it is?

Yes everything happens for a reason...and sometimes multiple reasons...and sometimes reasons within reasons within reasons...and so many factors and complications and intereferences and static come into the equation...and many are self created.

Yes...many are self created....

Take a broader perspective though...

Ask yourself this question.

What is the ultimate reason?

Start asking that question and see where it leads you....

You might just find the ultimate question....followed by....

Sorry for how long to reply in my journal. I had been ill last week and was getting better until earlier this week I had a wisdom tooth removed. Since then I have been very sick again. Constant headaches, sore throat, clogged up nose, feeling dizzy, massive toothache and this morning very bad breathe. It sucks being sick and having to look after yourself during this time when just the thought of getting up to get something is well you know. Sad

Rudolf it wasn't really a question. It was more of a thought shared for open discussion.

Jen nice insight. I agree there are always two sides to anything. I think what I mean was sometimes people can give up too early as soon as something doesn't go there way.

John I loved your post and it was I think in tune to an insight I had since I last posted. Everything does happen for reason AND I will say the reason we will give to something, anything is often not the real (deeper ) reason.

I think life/God is full of surprises ( to us anyway ) so much so we will never fully comprehend but when life shows up and it not to our liking or to our plan there our bigger and deeper things at play. It is sometimes easier to give up so early with the phase 'Everything happens for a reason ' even though this is true. Sometimes even when things are so hard if we just push our self a little harder or longer we will get what it is we desire.

I love these quotes

'The quality of my life is in direct proportion to the amount of uncertainty I can comfortably live with'

'Frustration means I am about to learn something'

Your stories as to why you can not have something is your fears showing up'

Perspective is everything dancing-man.

;-)

Fact....we are all gonna die...and it can be measured in days.

Fact....most people ignore that fact.

Take those two things on board and you'll have a new and heightened perspective.....maybe...(not you personally sacha I'm talking generally).

This life has a purpose...maybe the "purpose" is to find the purpose...

Yes we will all die and it can be measured in days but I like to measure life by moments.

In the end it will be the moments we will carry within are hearts that matters most not the amount of days we were gifted with.

I search my life to find and create magic moments with all whom I am blessed with.

Years a ago I searched for my life's purpose and I know it will evolve more and more as my life is more enriched as time passes by. Right now it's-

The Purpose of my Life is to be a Passionate Giver of Love,
Enjoy Life with the People Around Me,
And do a Dance of Inspiration for Myself and Others yahh

This is my mission statement I have for my life. It juices my life for the greater good. It helps give my life direction and clarity in my life too.

Everything happens for a reason!Yes I believe this, however this to me also means it is a test we are given at the moment! If we pass then kudos to us, however if we do not pass and comprehend the moment then it is not a failure but another chance to look and understand something deeper that we might have needed?? Jen, I love your response on the last page as it reminds me of this situation..When I see a fly buzzing back and forthe hitting it's own noggin on the window. To my belief it is trying to get through to the outside however it seems to go back and forthe, KAPOW here and CRUNCH there! Then the next day I can return to the same venue and see a fly on the floor of the window-sill dead when in reality there was a door open only 2 metres away for it to get through!!My understanding from this is... Sometimes it is right to keep pushing and going till you find your answer or your challenge has been met, but also sometimes we also need to look outside the box and choose another avenue because simply the original choice does not work for the given situation!Maybe this is our lesson needed to learn and from here knowledge and maturity grows??See I dunno this answer because I will admit now, I don't know what maturity is mwahahaha, well maybe sometimes I do but when I do I go and dance infront of my neighbours in Sach's long johns and that brings me down to my real level of utter stupity  :laugh:HAA please I am soooo joking! Love ya's, see ya's, BYE

By the way keep Sach look after your temple (body) as this is your only temple that you have in this life time to communicate to the physical universe and you might as well keep it in complete strength if you have the knowledge to do so.
Keep dancin buggalugs and keep well.

Great to see you too Jen Yesterday. Thankyou for your concern but what you saw as being flat was the Sachman in massive pain with my wisdom tooth being removed. Sad

Thanks for my bundle of goodies today. The Moroccan olives are nice and sweet. Yum! smiley

Thanks SW

You're welcome Sacha! I was thinking about this thread earlier. The difference between when to keep going and when to stop. Thanks for bringing it up. Got me thinking!

Heya Sach,  was thinking about you today!  Then tonight I got my internet back on so can pop by to say hi Smiley  Hi!

Hmm reading over the recent entries brings a line from a favorite song to mind:

"I reckon it's again my turn, to win some or learn some.."

Hi Waterberry smiley I was thinking of you too recently when I had a spur of the moment decision to crew a TR seminar in Melbourne that was happening in July. I went and bought some winter jackets and winter shoes even to brave the crazy weather you guys have down there. I was hopping to catch up while I was there but the event was postponed to later this year. Tell me whats the name of this song and by who?

I have some exciting news peoples yahh

I have signed up for a ' So You Think You Can Dance ' dance workshop happening this weekend with four of the stars of the show. I am really excited! ohyeah

It will be a big test and challenge. It will be two big long days, 8hrs each day. There will be two groups divided up, one for kids which I think is just awsome and one for us young adults. I am a freestyle dancer and have not had much experience with choreography before so it will be new for me but I am excited about it all the same.

Oh wow, which 4???  Do you know what style of dancing the workshop is covering?  Where is it?  When???

Sorry, thats really full on!  I love dancing, there is nothing more joyous in the world as far as I'm concerned and I'd love to hear more if you would indulge!

Cheers
