Hi Everyone Smiley

I was listening to great episode of Background Briefing today which talked about the shift of Australians into Fur Families (pets as companions). It had some alarming, thought sadly not surprising info on how commercialized pet foods are harming our animals and a brief discussion on feeding pets raw foods instead.

link: http://www.abc.net.au/rn/backgroundbriefing/stories/2007/2068661.htm

I have three beautiful cats and am proud to be part of an amazing Fur Family. I'm also an ethical vegan and hearing a mainstream program discuss the lack of regulation and safety standards for non-human animals was great. Now we just need to broaden this viewpoint to include farm animals too!!

Much love!

Birdcall ~:)

Thanks Birdcall, that's great to hear! I love alternative thinking making it into mainstream consciousness. We have another thread here for pictures of fur families, please share a pic of your lovely kitties!
