Today Kelly and I made a smoothie of almost all free ingredients,
We gleaned mini-mandarine like fruit, and some dock, plantain and mustard leaves on the way home from taking my niece to school this morning.
the recipe was;
1/2 - 1kg mini mandi's
large bunch of dock leaves
a few dates to taste.
It didnt turn out as the most delicious smoothie ever, but plenty nutritious and filling.
Spending money on food has been stressing me out a bit lately, Sergei's talk was perfectly timed, i'm all inspired to get gleaning again.. bring on fig season!
