Well I have some very sad news and I am quite upset about it.

My mums dog of 14 years had a tick on her last night when they went home (came here for dinner) and she was walking funny so Dad got it out for mum but today she isnt walking at all. So Dad has taken to the vet.

I cant believe Josie is gone (Mum told dad not to let them put her through to much cause she is very very old and we dont want her in pain) I am awaiting confermation about it.

I dont have any pics of her on my PC they are at mum and dads so I cant even show you what she looks like (she a silky terror).

Hope you had the best life Josie and Say Hello to Max (our german shepard) for me.

Love Angie

I'm so sorry Pinky. It's so sad when a beloved pet passes on. Dogs are so much more loving than people.... Big hugs for you and your family..

So sorry for your family's loss.  Pets are deservedly part of the family.....and they love us unconditionally.  We humans certainly can learn a thing or two from them!!!

Luv

Thank you Jen and Rita you made me cry again

I have found a pic of her and scanned it in but I dont know how big it is going to be

Mum just rang she has gone they just put her to sleep which I am glad about cause at least she isnt in any pain anymore. It is just so sad.

Oh the pic is of Josie in between mum and dad's pillows on their bed if we couldnt find her that is always where she was.

Sorry to hear about Josie.

We have a Sidney Silkie too. She is the light of my life. I can't even think what you must be going through.

Love, Michele.

Thank you everyone for your really kind words.

It has been a really hard day especially when Pete came home. I was okay after I shed a few tears this morning (okay more like a waterfall) but now it has all hit me again every time Pete mentions Josie I sed another few tears. It will be even worse when I go to mum and dad house and she isnt there either running around the neighbourhood or in the backyard waiting for someone to take her for a walk.

She will be very missed but at least I know she is in no more pain and is in a better place.

Love to all the doggies in the world
