My 8 year old niece, who lives in California, entered a local T-shirt design contest and just found out she won 2nd place out of hundreds of entries!

Below is her artwork...

I especially liked the words she had coming from the animals:

"Dont' eat us.   Eat Healthy."
"Our world is much better with us."

She became a vegetarian when she was around 7 years old.  She said she had a dream that the animals were tellling her not to eat them.  Her mom said she decided to become vegetarian that morning. 

where can i get that t shirt???

i am in california, too.  I always meet really cool little kids and want to hang out with them, and it makes me sad that I can't due to feeling like a michael jackson weirdo.  it's so not politically correct.  I find children to be incredibly interesting people though.  moreso then my peers at school.  they are almost always willing to just sit down and draw, and so am I.  it's my thing. 

are they going to make it into a shirt and sell it?  if so please keep us posted I would totally sport that in a second!
