good point..
corn is botanically a grain, but like the cobs i picked off the bush a few nights ago, they definitely taste like a fresh fruit.

thesedays i only eat corn that was picked by me or by someone else a few hours before. the sugars turn from simple to complex quickly. i prefer my digestion simple rather than complex..

i have a fresh corn feast a few times a year. doesnt do me harm.

for me the definition of a grain is something that is dry, or bland or needs the addition of condiments for enjoyment. so yeah fresh picked corn is the exception. there is some types of corn that are harder to digest. just like melons. you have sweet melons and bitter melons. sweet corn and horse corn...

but i still prefer my fruit meals, corn a few times a year just adds a little variety to the hundreds of different types of raw plant foods i eat in a year.

I think that all grains are bad now. It is a huge concious warning probably. Due to many of them being genetically modified i would definately stay away from them.

Lets hope the bitter corn isnt monsanto's. They patent corn.

rawconnection : Do you eat bitter corn  or do you eat something else which has eaten it ?
                        Are  australian grown ,fresh, raw ,sweetcorn on the cobs in any way GM etc ...yet ?
