I was at fox studio today. I found my organic store!

women "you look beautiful"
kim: "thankyou".

keeps checking me out!

Kim: "how much for the mangoes?"
women: "they're 3.50 each"

pause. Thinking to myself too expensive!

Kim: "how much are the riped bananas?"
women: "they are 3.50 per k.g"

too expensive.

women: "oh your one of those raw vegans!". she said a slightly judgmental and negative tone.
Does having your shirt off make you a raw vegan?

10mins later I came back and they sold me 3 riped mangoes for $2.

Kim: "do I look like a raw vegan?"
women: *node* "all you guys come and ask how much is mangoes then bananas, then you push down the price until we are literally giving it away!"

After today event. I just thinking are we making ourselves look bad infront of organic shops?

kylie gave me a tray of cert mangoes last week for 5$. she loves our business..all them crew do..cos we always buy the ripe stuff...

dude..just hit the wholesalers..mon to fri 5am -10am.

In my 'hood, we also go to wholesalers (in addition to Farmer's Markets, etc.).  They usually sell only to commerical businesses but they let our raw group come in because we don't bounce checks, etc.

They can be cool, too.

The person who bought mangos from them last week mentioned to them the mangos unfortunately didn't ripen -- and they replaced the small batch we got from them for free!   cool
