Minor healing crises! Headachey, fluey, blerky! Gak. Will get past it quickly. I had a lovely green juice this morning with 1/2 a bunch of celery, 2 cukes and an apple. Not a lot of juice but nice and potent.

My wheatgrass was all cut off last night and drank! Not a lot of juice in it. I was surprised by the small yield. At this rate I will need a tray per day which is not feasible right now as I only have 5 large trays! Will get two more.

Short day today so I'm out and about. I have a lot of fun on my Friday afternoons. That's when I book in any meetings or appointments or just girlie chat time. It's awesome. So long as it gets me out of house and office that is fine.

Enjoy your day folkies!

Hi Karen, Nope! Still persisting. But that's fine. Good cleanout I say!

The coconut cookies were amazing but a little dry. Next time I am going to add some cashew nut butter or brazil nut butter to them. See how I go. I'll bring you some when I make more. I'm thinking of doing a batch this arvo. Yummmm!

Enjoy your kitchen time uncooking queen!

Hullo love! Relax? Moi? Are you sure you have the right journal love? Ah well. I'll relax one day! Tee hee.

I can't wait to meet Sami-Jo. Very excited as you must be! And SJ must be too. We'll talk during the week.

exciting news to report on the family front and no, not preggers as someone asked! Geez. But I have found a replacement for cheese in our household. It's the cashew sauce I use on the pizza's. I've mixed it in with the kids food (I won't mention which as I don't wish to start cravings in anyone) but it's gone over really well.

No more cheese in our house! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!

With the green smoothies they are getting they will have more than enough calcium and other things that are supposed to be in cheese anyhow. Awesome!

Interesting day. But first I want to share with you a pic...

I make Brock vege pasta. It's so great that I can see how far I have come in the last year with the kids. Brock used to have spaghetti's that were full of meat and loaded with cheese. Now he has spelt pasta with homemade tomato sauce (raw), steamed veges, cashew cheese sometimes and... peas! I added them the other day and he asked "what are these?" I said, "peas, you've had them before and loved them". True, this was back when he was 2 but never mind. So he ate the lot.

On Sunday at the organic market I bought him some sugar snap peas and gave him the bag. He doesn't call them peas he calls them 'balls' and it was really funny when he told Bill, "I'm just going to eat my balls now Dad'. I had to leave the room to laugh!

Anyhow, Brock asked for a toothpick and the above photo was his pea creation. "Balls on a stick". Kept him amused for ages. I ate the shells. Yummo.

I thought this was gorgeous!

hello les, I have a few spiralisers that I bought for RP. they were not what I thought though. I'm looking at getting stainless steel ones in. the ones I have are plastic and I don't know for how long they will last. I have about 5 left if you want one. Just pm me if you would and I'll send you some pics.

Yup I put the Aloe vera in my smoothies but not all the time. Don Tolman raved about aloe vera at his seminiar. I didn't know it could be eaten until then. Interesting texture. Aloe vera is awesome!

I've had clover twice. Not a lot I know but it doesn't grow much in the front yard and the back yard is where Bella does her bizzo! Not much one for eating that!!! I had it once in a salad and once in a smoothie. In the salad I chopped it through like a herb. I did a google image search for clover and checked out the shape of the leaves etc. It's pretty nice.

What a day. I slept like a baby last night. Actually that's not true. I slept all night for about 10 hours. Delicious! I feel like a new woman today. It's finally stopped raining here so I have had the kids outside and they have had a ball. After staying inside over the last few cold rainy days they have a lot of energy to let out and they have! They've had a few screaming matches but they sorted it out themselves.... so proud of them. Minutes later they were all happy again. I wonder at what point in our lives do we begin to find that grudges are more useful than forgiveness.

Bill took Caitlyn to the archery club today for a shoot and she did really well. While they were gone I chopped up some mandies for me and some apples for Brock and we had a fruit picnic. During the picnic Brock pointed out to me that all of his clothes from his singlet to his jumper, pants etc were backwards. All of them. 100% correct in getting them all on backwards. Well done Brock. He was so proud!

Me being me I immediately wanted him to turn them all around the 'right' way but I made myself relax and not say anything. He's doing fine. Not going out. What's the harm in it? He's having fun and he's such a cutie!

Anyhoo.... off to shred and dice vegies for tonights dinner. We are having a stir not-fry tonight. Cabbage, carrot, zucchini, shredded greens, broccoli, any vege we have really. With garlic, ginger, chinese five spice, lemon juice and salt. In the dehydrator. Yummy!

If it's attractive and if I remember I'll take a photo to post.

Les, I think I will break up the aloe vera into other pots. It's looking a little strangled hey... poor lil fella.
