I was scrolling down the page and thought, wow free, you're looking so good. Then saw Neet's pic and thought, wow, you're looking good too babe, even with a moustache! Gorgeous ladies all over the page.

Jen, that is such a great breakthrough and something I have really struggled with off and on. "After all, if I am not eating with confidence, then I will not be trusting myself or my body. If I don't trust my body, how will I learn to listen to it? Doh! If I'm listening to it and don't trust it, will I hear what it's saying anyhoo? Probably not." This really hit a chord with me.

Thank you for sharing your experiences in your journal Jen, you do make a difference for other people by doing it.

Oh! There has been a partay in my journal! Yippeee. I love it when I come back to loads of posts! Thanks everyone for dropping by.

I've been eating raw with confidence and I tell you... it's a load off! My body knows exactly what it wants and I'm not questioning it. Except today when I went past a bakery and I was drooling? What the? I don't normally give that a second thought! I dont' know what it was about so I gave my body a firm talking to about what is raw and what is not and came home with this for dinner!

And that's not all! When I first went raw I decided to design a range of t-shirts. I finally got the designs back from the Graphic designer a month ago and uploaded them and look!!!! they are here! Huzzaaaaaaaaaaah!!! Keeping myself inspired anyway I can.

I'm a t-shirt designer... LOL. Bill looks pretty hot in his too. So now I'm going to order the other one I did which is not a raw shirt per se... it's for the organic farmers. Love it!

This photo of Bill is awesome. I love it when he gets out his silly side.

These have been a long time in the making. Since Jan 2007. So I am stoked. Keep your goals in mind peoples!

I'm off to have a great night. Hope you all do too!

Hey Jen, know what you mean, i was working around the house this morning and thought that i could smell pastry wherever i went.  I did not even eat pastry, nor want it, nor like shop bought stuff, nor was i thinking about it,  but that was what i could smell, pastry and we dont have a bakery for miles.  WIERD  crazy

modified to add
L-o-v-e the T shirt.  Can you tell me what a durian tastes like and when do you know they are ripe.  That is another food i have not tried and have seen and are curious about.  Are they grown in Oz or are they imported?

Hey Becky, not long now until we can meet! Yippeeee.

neet, I dont' know where those cravings came from and I don't care cos they are gone. I loved my durian though. but I love Bill more, you know how I know? Because I shared my durian with him. How nice am I?

I had a great weekend. I ate out for lunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and stayed raw. Salads all the way. I'm getting used to asking if I can 'just have a garden salad with avocado' or if I could 'please have the Greek salad with avo instead of cheese". It's a confidence booster and, two years in I'm finally not feeling deprived when i'm out if I have a salad. I feel lucky!

Lucky that I am avoiding the mood swing, foul mood and foul bowel that follows a restaurant meal. I look at what others are eating in wonder with their golden fried food and other things. I am stunned when I see them leave their salad at the end of their meals. I have to remind myself that I was once like that too... I never liked to waste the salad though so I would ask them to leave it out! LOL.

Gosh I'm glad i found raw. It's been such an eye opener. I was chatting to my Dad today and he said he's never spoken to me when I have been this calm or happy. He'd stoked that I have worked it out before I died as he didn't think I would live very long. He too, thought I would top myself one day. As a parent I can only imagine the pain that this must have caused him.

anyhoo... it never happened.

Big day today. We found nit eggs in Caitlyn's hair this morning. funny thing though, they were all old. but we found no nits or new eggs. They mustn't like her hair. I'm half glad because getting rid of nits is a pest (pun fully intended! LOL) and insulted. What the hell's wrong with my daughters hair that it's been rejected by nits of all things... lol again!

Ahhhh... teeth time. Gotta get the kids flossing. I've neglected to teach that skill until now.

Have a great night all! or day depending on when you are reading this.

Hi Jen, This is from ABC web site and is a tip from Shannon Lush - queen of environmental gleam
Shannon's tips of the week

1. How to get rid of head lice

Wash your hair with orange juice! Although this may sound more like a Peter Coombe song than an effective remedy, it's true. Orange juice is such a toxic insecticide, the lice will die. Simply pour orange juice over your hair like shampoo and leave it on for 10 minutes. Run a lice comb through your hair. It kills the live lice and loosens the eggs so it strips straight off the hair. Not only does it not burn your head, lice don't become immune to it, which is what can happen with commercial products.

As a preventative measure, put half a teaspoon of tea tree oil in the bath it inhibits lice landing on their head because they don't like it.

Hope that this is helpful, and works.  It was on the carol Whitelock show of the ABC.  worth a try, no more chemicals??

Hi all! Frangi you are a gem. Thank you very much for the information. Next time the little critters come along i'll try that!

Thanks Kebbster. That's a lovely thing to say! Mwah...

Awww... Neet, next installment is coming and you are orff to Fiji! Have a ball girl, it will be here when you get back!

Hullo Gosia! How's the mathematical world? I remember you had been given a project? Is it going well and stimulating your brain in great ways?

Well, I AM detoxing. i thought I was yesterday, today I know I am. And I think I know why. Apart from this being my longest period of 100% raw, I ceased and desisted from using regular anti-perspirant  a couple of weeks ago. I've been using an organic one with friendly ingredients in it. Pimples on armpits and face too.

But that's not all. Belly has swollen out like I'm preggers. Not preggers but big roll of fat at lower belly and around my lower back/hip area too. No wonder! I've been eating more fat than I can poke a stick at! LOL. I've noticed that I'm not craving it as much now which is nice. yesterday I ate it more out of habit than anything. i did enjoy my olives in my lunch though... will not deny but dinner I just wanted a salad.

I'm about to go and make today's lunch of mandies, mint and ginger. Yummo.

Had a big juice this morning of celery, cucumber, pear, lemon and fennell. Yummo again!

better get on with my day. Have an awesome day/night all.
