just to let u know whats been happening 4 me.

well, my BFs parents have gone away for the week on a holiday, so im staying with him (yay) , and he tells me he is going to go on optifast becaue he wants to lose weight. he says he will just dink that for a week til his parents get back ...

well of course, im a suportive Gf, but i just had to let him know that it prob wasnt great for his health - and i offered to make him smoothies instead - u know because at least they r fresh n full of vitamins and minerals etc.
 ..AMAZINGLY he agrees to my offer!!

WE hve both never been to the wholesale markets before, but  the next day we drive to the markets and spend $120 on boxes and boxes of food ( 2 fridges full and one table) we got banannas, 3kg of baby spinich(a box full) for only $20, 60 apples for $15, a box of mangos, peaches, celery, a box of cucumbers, a box of broccoli (to steam)

now i call him "fruit head" .... he used to eat one piece of fruit a week,bowls of rice, oily wok fries, white bread sandwiches with liverwurst, cooked meat every meal... now he is having green smoothies with me! he actually said "mmmm" when he bit into a peach! ( i nearly fell off my chair) and he walked past eating a carrot the other night... i have never seen this before!!!

He is doing way better than me, he is so detemined to lose weight fast he is not eating ANYTHING processed, im still having some cooked as well.

It is so nice to have someone else doing it with me... im V proud of him. And ill definatley be going back to the markets in a few weeks when we finally finnish off this food.

not many people actually understand how good fruits can be..once we know there is more than the waxed apple etc..people find it easier to entertain the idea of eating raw.
