my brother has started buying wheatgrass trays and he finally replaced the part he lost for my juice extractor so i can make raw juice again. i told him we should grow our own but i don't know where to get the wheat berries from. (it is called wheat berries right?). do most health food stores sell raw wheat? does anyone on the gold coast grow their own? thanks.

Most health food stores carry them, what area of Gold Coast do you live?

I've got some info around here somewhere, detailed instructions for growing wheatgrass in Australian/Queensland conditions.  Will you be at the picnic on Saturday?  I'll dig it out before then. 

I grew my own for a while, my rats loved it.  I think they ended up with most of it.  Pity for me, coz I found it so powerful.  And when you grow your own it's infused with your energy, so even more powerful.

Hey Travis, Check out Brett's journal. There is loads of great info in there including the use of sea water for added minerals and mould prevention. A very valuable thread.
