This next juice feast I will try and keep a personal journal to note more stuff about what is going on.  I find that hard journaling, even for my eyes only quite naked and vulnerable.  Don't know whats up with that, I like to hide most of the time.  Peek a boo was a fav game as a child  laugh

Hi Blue Nelly,

Many thanks for posting. I was so interested to read about your experiences and in particular your thoughts on the hemp oil as I'm really reluctant to incorporate that.

When are you next thinking of juice feasting?

Hi GG,

My pleasure if my babble has been of any help or interest Smiley.

I've been looking out for other Juice Feasters that have had similar negative results with taking hemp oil to feel secure in giving it the flick, have noted David Rainoshek himself mentioning having an upset tummy in his blog with having the oil in a fruit juice.  Without trying to reinvent their wonderful wheel, hemp oil hasn't felt right for me and a consultation I had with Tonya Zavasta on other matters, concreted my security in giving it the flick, with her highlighting along the lines it is pure oil which is unnatural for us to consume, and people have been juicing successfully long before this money spinner (hemp oil) made it's debut on the health scene.

With the emphasis of supplementing with hemp oil for EFAs in the Juice Feasting programme I did want to give it a go but was also concerned with how stable the oil is.  I emailed a number of suppliers (Nutiva being one of them) for clarification and comparisons and their response was that that hemp oil is pretty much on par with flax seed oil as far as stability goes (not good!).  May all sound a bit anal (for a lack of a better word)  but when you are working hard to earn your health in every other aspect it matters, and I don't just want to follow blindly.  These are just my thoughts and experiences though.

Looking to start another round of juicing asap, how about yourself?  Would love to hear of your journey, results and experiences and recipe ideas.  I look forward to making more savoury soup type juices this time around to spice it up.

Warmth and cheers,
Nic xx

Thanks, I remember your help with input and providing source (Naked Chocolate), appreciated that.  I did try to give the oil a good go and did my homework by asking the relevant questions in a number of areas Nutiva being one of the suppliers I emailed, as they are one of the reccommended oils of Juice Feasting.  Hopefully our experience will help others having difficulty with the oil too.
