OK so lets do it. Juice Feasting, initialy targetting 92 days but be flexible about it and responsive to the body feedback.

Few days left for preparation, to me it means to finish the food I have before march 1st, some seeds, and apricot kernels leftovers from apricot season.

Am planning on doing regular LGBF and SWF along the way,

and using the stuf like :

honey, molases, spirulina, ocean salt, Barley Grass, Macca, Chia,

have kinda ordered the green juicer for wheat grass, lettuce, herbs and weeds...

might throw some dry fasting days in .

Feel free to post here any ideas, and if You join in post here or if You prefere in Your own thread the experiences suggestions...

Lets get liquidy

AWESOME!

I'm after some good quality bee pollen and hemp oil as part of my preparation, if anyone can recommend a good source, please do.

Bottoms up,
Nic

Ultimately I wish to play with some very short dry fasts reguarly too.  I have done a couple of 18 hour dfs and notice a difference, pretty powerful.  Haven't felt clean enough though of late to do any more due to a few indulgences here and there.  rolleyes

Rudy - organic, food grade, cold pressed hemp oil is pretty easy to get online - locally.

Google ahoy!

The seeds are another matter, of course.  rolleyes

We have to settle for hemp flour, protein powder or hemp meal.  And only for pet consumption. Wink

* was (at one time) doing a lot of work on hemp in Australia - he's something of a hemp expert.  And his living food recipes use a number of hemp derivatives.

It seems I can't mention the name of the Australian raw foodie who is pro-hemp.  His name is not "*"

Thanks Miss Giggles.

One thing I have been wondering about hemp oil and its popularity within the raw scene, Is whether it is a more stable oil than flax oil, which is quite well known for being rancid before you even break the seal of the lid.

Rudy - there's no secret when it comes to hemp oil or the flour.  These are readily available legally - flour not for human consumption, of course. Wink

It's just seeds that we can't get.  Although, I remember Freedom finding a source in WA ages ago.  Again, that doesn't help those of us in the east, as you wouldn't get it through the post.  I was so close to trying my luck at bringing hemp seeds back from Sedona, but thought it wasn't worth the jail time.  Besides, I've seen episodes of Border Security.

Nic - I am almost positive that hemp oil is definitely more stable than flax.  I can't give you any source, but I'll have a look a bit later in other realms, and report back.

Rudy - I'll pm you some links for hemp oil and such that I've found, but I've not used their products.  I use olive and coconut oil mostly.  I WANT SEEDS.  laugh

I might see if I can contact Paul B, as he was at one time lobbying really hard for hemp seeds as a food source.

remember reading in Wolfes 'Naked Chocolate' that hemp oil has a PV -Peroxide Value- (sort of Rancidity Value) of aprox. 0.1 - 0.5 which is very, very good...

in comparision Ext. Virgin Olive Oil which is far more stable than Flax has a PV of 15-20...

so definetly more stable as Flax Oil

thanks for the warmth Nelly yawn,

Hemp oil is said to have the best Omega 3-6 ratio so you can take it on a regulary basis without having any sort of unbalance, reason why so popular...

the taste has to be nutty and smooth... store it in the fridge to prevent rancidity in any case...
