rofl rofl rofl rofl Jen thanks for the laugh I really needed it.....B12 oh the controversy lol

I’ve been avoiding my journal because I haven’t been in the best frame of mind over the past few days. Yesterday the waterworks where running all day I just could not stop crying. I felt so horrible emotionally that I wanted desperately to numb myself and this is when I usually resort back to bad habits like drinking, smoking, eating, not eating, overworking, over exercising whatever I can do to stop feeling. I was trying to ride out the emotions as best as I could but ended up stuffing down some raw almond and date rolls. Ok so this is no way near as bad as what I used to do but I was seriously paying for it after. I’ve been eating only bananas and green veg this week and my poor belly didn’t know what hit when I ate the date rolls, I was doubled over in pain for hours. Hopefully I’ve learnt my lesson.

Veg xx

Hi VegD, Narnabananacopacabarna...rama??;-)

Lower fats in the diet and watch your b12 increase, im convinced it has a lot to do with absorption.

How u doing now Veg?
It may sound difficult but try to embrace the way you are feeling.  Those tears are spirits of old habits leaving your body, never to return again...detoxing tears.  The body crying tears of joy as the old stuff is thrown from your lymphatic system into the bloodstream & dumped(not pun intended) out of the body once and for all.....celebrate! When some foods are released into the bloodstream again they can cause cravings for that very same food once more so be aware of that too..

You are doing so well with your narana's and greens, don't worry about the date and coconut roll it was just the universe sending you a little reminder of how bad you feel after eating that combo and thats its not best.  It's good if you can attach pain to certain foods, makes it much easier to let go off.... when these slip ups happen don't throw the towel in, mistakes are a sign of life.

Besides the fact that you are throwing out the old stuff....i suspect you weren't eating enough sweet fruit/getting enough carbs too or you wouldn't have found the roll so attractive, there's much more than just emotions behind that choice....what did you eat that day? how many bananas? If you did eat enough then at least we can eliminate that variable.  Get lots of water everyday too...how much are you drinking? Maybe start posting on the 100day thread your water intake as well so we can keep ya honest.
