Thought I might start a thread to encourage eachother with exercise...so lets share what exercise we have done each day and any Personal Bests or goals we have accomplished or are working on...no amount is too small or too big. I find it motivating to hear what everyone else is doing...

So please...lets get moving!

Today I spent 55 mins at the gym doing some intense cardio, tread mill, elliptical trainer, stairclimber, rowing machine. Felt great. Wonderful idea Berry. You know I noticed this topic early today when I was feeling rather tired and detoxy and thinking of opting out of the gym. So I went out and worked real hard so I could put something down here.

Yesterday I did 40 minutes of weights and stretching with a personal trainer, this morning I did cardio for about 35 minutes at the gym - treadmill, elliptical trainer (thanks Becky), two types of cycle machines and rowing machine where I beat my previous distance.  ohyeah  Went there at 5.30 this morning and have to run to the shower to get ready for work.

Thanks Berry - good motivation.

Does moving my mouth count as exercise?

Go to the gym most days and show off how a skinny guy like me can over do everyone!

since this is probably the family type of forum, I will skip the most intersting activities, so am left with

running 6km today, and various exercises combaning yoga-stretching-strenght-muscle endurance.

otherwise it is running, walking, occasional bicycle and daily yoag-stretch-strenght trainng, mostly with body weight, some free weights and cable slide machine = total gym 1000.

easy yoga in the morning, short running-walking, working hard 2-3 days a week + being active most of the day...

i had to run to the market to get my wallet back (with money inside lucky i am)...,

thats it... LOL.. have to motivate myself and get a bike, that would be awesome... just relying on the pulse of my heartbeat...

tomorrow soccer game... feeling fit... just thinking about...

I was awake nearly all last night due to a drunken and noisy neighbour... my physical activity today was to stay awake and to stay kind. It's still a habit/belief that I hold that we are grumpy when tired. So today has been an exercise in training emotions which can be physically tiring.

Not exercising at the moment as I'm fasting but last week I went to the Blue Mountains and did some canyoning and abseiled down some cliffs and waterfalls.

This sounds fun!  I'd had a respiratory ickk - the creeping crud for the past couple of weeks, that even now still is refusing to go completely away.  I finally got sick of not feeling like doing anything, and threw myself into some intense workouts this week and I am loving them!

I'm doing 6 miles of powerwalking each day, 4 sets of 25 bicep curls, tricep extensions, and pec flys with 5 pound dumbells, 100 situps, a 30 minutes bellydance fitness workout, and two days ago, added 30 minutes with a 5 pound weighted squooshie ball!

Loving how I'm feeling!

no amount is too small

Well in that case........

Today I spent quite a few hours talking about what I should be doing in regards to walking, weight-lifting, acrobatic workout.

Sadly talk didn’t translate into actually doing anything. Had a two hour sleep though this afternoon.

However, despite my inane laziness, I haven’t done too badly. I have lost around 18KG in the last seven months through walking for 30 minutes (almost) everyday and eating raw – and I haven’t even been doing that properly, as still drinking wine and eating chocolate.

Still this will be an excellent thread for future inspiration.

I did lots of remote control arm curls while watching biggest loser  rofl

No just kidding, I did turbulence training (by Craig Ballantyne) for 45 minutes which I thought was a good effort until I read this thread!

Cheers

Steve.
