The other day I was watching TV and there was a vegan chemical free makeup that came on. Its called Inika (Jen can I put the details up?) and here is the website http://www.inikacosmetics.com/

I thought some of you might be interested and if you have heard, seen, or used it before please let me know as I would like to know what you guys think of it and if it is really vegan and chemical free.

Hope everyone has a fantastic Sunday lots of love Angie

There is definately a market out there for pure(no harsh pollutant chemicals etc.)vegan cosmetics, but I have my doubts to whether pure and vegan cosmetics exists right now. You can always get creative with beets etc.

I have used Inika makeup base and its unlike anything I have used before.

I have gone off makeup for the daily bases but going out at night i feel I like something for that glow under lights.....  on and I like the fact you can put on a little or alot of coverage and it doesnt feel heavy or clogging on the face it gives you a glow.

You get a pot of powder witha special brush to apply I have had mine for ages it lasts .

I havent tried there eye make up yet .

Sometimes Rawgasm you just need some coverage, or to highlight one area of your face like the eyes etc.

An even better business to support is http://www.puregaisha.com.au/
I know one of the women in Adelaide who runs it, she is so lovely. Friends say her makeup is divine.

I have a few of Inika's mineral eyeshadows and eyeliners, very bright colours. I haven't used them for ages but they are really beautiful...shimmery. I feel like a fairy when I wear them! The make-up brush I got with them was made from horsehair. I complained, they apologised and offered me a synthetic brush which they have phased in now I think.

Eeek! I got myself some mineral eye shadows and these are fine. But, I can't stand the taste of the mineral lipstick! Feels not right. Sad

Hi Gosia,

Same here. I don't like the lipsticks, but I use mineral eyeshadows. Have a couple that I put on my lips (as well as my eyes and cheekbones)  then finish with slick of lip balm. Coconut oil would work well. Looks really shimmery and pretty.

ggxx

ps how did you get on with the Beautiful on Raw facecream? I remember you saying you were going to try it.

Hi GG, phew, good to know I am not alone lol! I have not been using anything on my face recently (back to my old habits). So, I have not tested the cream really properly yet. Maybe when I feel inspired to use it again, I will then! Smiley
