 -_-Hi Lulu
I to am "eating to heal" psoraisis.  So glad that you have had such good results so soon.  I have been raw for one month, but have been vegan (apart from the occasional fish meal (hubby is a fisherman and the fish is fresh caught and delicious) for about 9 months.  When I decided to do the vegan thing I had psoraisis for about 12 years, it is the most frustrating and annoying problem because it seems to just hang around, however, by eating raw and vegan the scale has reduced to just red circles.  I have it all over my  torso and along the back of my legs & a bit along the back of my arms.  I have always eaten well, whole grains and lots of fresh stuff but never been this enthusiastic about getting rid of the psoraisis.  When i first started vegan i fasted 3 days juice, 3days water and 3 days juice, the lesions virtually disappeard which confirmed that there is a link between the disorder and food, I plan to do 5 days on water again in July.  I am now determined to get on top of this and will work at it daily to do so.  I have the support of my Husband, but he eats as i used to.  I think with time he will swing over bit by bit as he tastes the fabulous flavours of Raw food.

Hi there Frangipanni, I too have eaten quite well all my adult life and I know that this is why my psoriasis has never been too inflamed like I see on others.  This said, I also know that the raw diet will heal my psoriasis, it is just a matter of time for the healing to be done (from the inside out) so I will continue to map my progress.  I too would like to fast in July, it will be three months raw for me by then so I'm quite confident my body will be ready for a fast.  I would love to do one now but I don't want to throw my body off it's course which can sometimes happen.

Well today is 7 weeks at 100% raw for me, wow, that time has gone so fast it's hard to believe.  I don't really see many changes in myself but I'll see what the two month photos come out like before passing too much judgement.

I'm eating a bit more now, it's just my nose that's blocked so I'm on the mend.

Tuesday

Smoothie
water
6 brazil nuts
mandarin
pineapple blended
mushroom with pesto with lettuce and tom sprinkled on top
water

Wednesday

smoothie
water
six sunflower crackers with tom
piece of fudge
mushroom with guacamole and green salad

Thursday

Blender full of blueberry smoothie  juiceup
Lunch will be sunflower crackers with tom

take care all and keep rawing

Hi Lulu, I haven't been here for awhile. You ARE a genius!!! I don't think I have ever seen anyone go to so much effort posting their shots. That is fantastic.

What everyone has said is so true. You look slimmer, clearer eyes better skin and the photos of your psoriasis are great too. It's awesome to have those kinds of photos.

Congrats on such a long time raw as well. You are amazing and stunning.

Oh boy, I haven't been here since Friday, where does the time go.  Day 53 today.

Now I have to try and remember what I had over the weekend, shouldn't be too hard as I know it wasn't much.

Saturday

Smoothie at about 11.00 am coconut (yeh) blueberries and banana
about six brazil nuts
banana
mandarin
Dinner was mixed salad with mushroom and guacamole
water

Sunday

Cacao smoothie (1 glass)
Smoothie - banana, blueberries and coconut (just over half a jug)
dried mango - about six pieces
4 dates
about six brazil nuts
banana
Dinner was half a zuccini made into fetucini with marinara sauce with green salad

Monday

Cacao smoothie (1 glass)
smoothie - coconut, blueberries and banana

Boy I'm really enjoying my smoothies at the moment, I find they fill me up so much that I've not been having lunch, just the odd nibble on smaller things.  It feels right to do this at the moment.  My nose is almost unstuffed now, yeh.

The mandarins on our tree have just started ripening all the way and I had the first one on the weekend, a little tart but still nice, and I know they are organic too, a couple more days and we'll be picking alot more.

Bye for now, fingers are getting cold.

Rest of yesterday

banana
brazil nuts
cacao smoothie
water

Didn't really eat today, about 4.30pm I started to feel really feverish so I just made a smoothie (cacao lol) for dinner, how strange.  I thought I was feeling much better yesterday, although I did feel cold, and then all of a sudden my nose got all congested again and my head was burning.  Feel great again this morning so I don't know what that was all about.

Today

Smoothie
blended pineapple
six brazil nuts
mandarin

Yesterday my DD came home from school all upset, apparently she had run in the 1k dash semi-finals and not done so well (monthly) but was happy with her effort anyway (4mins 20 secs) and her friends were congratulating her and some guy said he liked her running so she was feeling great and then as she walked away he made a nasty comment which brought her down like a tonne of bricks and she was down for the rest of the day..... uuuummmmmm what do you say, so I told her about Love Spirit's clash with a friend who commented on her hair in a nasty way and just explained that she must have been filled with such a good vibration that he needed to bring her down to his level, this is when my eldest DS chirped in an said 'he's probably got a crush on you', lol.  It's sad though isn't it.  She's a good girl and gets over things really quickly but she does always try and be nice to all.

Ok, enough rambling, I'm still 100% raw, wow I'm so pleased with this, have to pinch myself sometimes to realise that I have come this far, I'm very thankful.

Take care all and have a great day

Tuesday

Mixed salad for dinner

Wednesday

Smoothie
water
apple
trail mix (about a large handful)
Green salad with zuccini fettucini and pesto

Thursday

Smoothie
Warmed up green tea (it's cold today)
six brazil nuts
banana

It's quite cold today so I warmed some green tea, don't know what to have for dinner, maybe a salad with quacamole... not sure.

Nose is congested again, still having about 2-3 bms daily (sorry if TMI) don't really feel that hungry.

Ok, not alot to say today, thanks for reading

Bye now

Rest of yesterday...

six sunflower crackers with tom on top

Friday

3 dates
5 brazil nuts
$5 worth of dried mango... MWAH MWAH MWAH
cacao smoothie 1/2 jug
5 sunflower crackers with tom
water

I made sunflower crackers yesterday and they are only small (about 7cm dia) but they seem so filling so I didn't get any dinner last night because I was so full.

I finally found some more dark flax seed today, YEH, I'll soak some overnight and make some crackers tomorrow, can't remember when I last had some of these, they're not so heavy so I'm looking forward to them.

Dried mango slices is my weekly treat after shopping, along with a coconut once a week, lol, I know it doesn't sound much does it but it's nice to have a treat just for myself.

It's really wet here today, I've been caught in the rain about three times already, brrrrrrrrrrr I'm staying home now until Monday.

Ok people Day 57, I'll have more pictures next Wednesday, on the 4th which will be two months raw, hubby can see a difference but I see myself too much I really don't see much of a difference, we'll see in the photos.

Take care and thanks for reading.

It is a wonderful treat, I only eat quite simply so that makes it all the better, and not having to share it with the kids, lol.

Day 58

Coconut, blueberry and banana smoothie
5 x sunflower seed crackers with tom
fudge
water
banana
garden salad with - lettuce, english spinach, 1/2 tom, beetroot and 1/2 small avo (was really nice)

I made some fudge today, it must be the wet cold weather, I felt like something a little naughty, although it's not at all, it was nice to have.  I made some flax crackers today so that should be nice for the week also.

My psoriasis is very itchy today, seems to have flared up over the past couple of days, could be the dampness doing it, I'm not sure but it looked much better last week.

Not much happened today, stuck inside doing housework, made the kids clean out their rooms, lol, boy they were noisy today trying to get out of it, lol.  I feel like I need lots of sleep right now.

Thanks for reading, take care

Sunday

Smoothie, banana, blueberry and coconut
fudge
3 flax crackers with avo and tom
fudge
mixed salad same as yesterday

Monday

fudge (lol)
cashews - about 7
almonds - about 4
4 flax crackers with avo and tom
2 mandarins off my tree, yuuuuummmmm
trail mix, handful
dinner will be mushroom (x2) stuffed with guacamole and green salad

Well I've finished my 60 day raw challenge at the end of this day, yeh me.

My next challenge is to continue with being raw and to include exercise 4 times a week for at least 30mins per session.

Today I did a dance workout (DVD) for 45mins, lol, I'm soooooo unco-ordinated.  The kids laughed at me because they stayed home today due to flooded roads. At least I made someone happy today, lol.

I'll take new photos on Wednesday the 4th which is my two month anniversary. When I get to three months I want to do a fast for at least 10 days, so I guess that will be my next challenge, hope I'm not getting too far ahead of myself here.

Ok, got to go start making everyone's dinner now, thanks for reading and I hope the weather isn't too bad where you are.

Bye now
