Hi guys,
Things are pretty sweet here, I'm having very simple food, and feeling really energetic and happy. And calm. I think that is actually the best bit. No more Cranky Mum!
The first time I tried raw (May 2007- I lasted around four months), I went raw really fast, and didn't eat enough, which led to very quick weight loss, lots of headaches and detox symptoms. This time is totally different. Thanks to this forum and the wonderful people on here that are willing to help and share, I'm more aware now how it all works. So thank you so much!

I had put on a bit of weight especially around my middle over Easter (those Cadbury eggs have a lot to answer for!) Well, I'm happy to report that my clothes are fitting a little less snug.

Like I said, last time I lost a lot quite quickly and was kind of expecting the same this time. But it hasn't been as quick which is probably good.
The extra weight isn't really the issue tho- it is more about how I was feeling (tired, lifeless, bleh) and happily, this has changed immensely. I'm definitely heading over to the raw for 60 days challenge after this.
Hey, this is FUNNY. I just counted on my fingers and realised that my 10 day challenge actually finished on SATURDAY! I was thinking I had another day to go!!!!LOL LOL

What a crack-up! SOoooooo, I guess I'm heading over to the "love boat" now!
And to summarise... these ten days have been wonderful. I've let go of bread, milk, coffee (mostly), black and green tea, biscuits, cake, chocolate (this was a big one). And the thing is, I just don't even think about them anymore. It's completely comparable to when I gave up smoking when I was 20, and when I gave up drinking when I was 30. So I'm convinced I was addicted to those foods. I feel lighter both in body and in mind- just wonderful. Go raw! Go me! Go you!
