Hi all,

Oh Eve, thank you so much for all your support and help, you're just lovely!- I've just been playing with the calculator you suggested- how much fun is it?!?!? laugh And, yes, I found that I still needed about 800 calories after I put in all I ate yesterday. 800! Wowee. I also found I was about 65%carbs/12%protien/30%fat. So that shows me what to change to get closer to 80/10/10:

Less fat, more carbs, less fat, more carbs, less fat, more carbs.....my new mantra

Today's food has been similar to yesterday, so I need to have a big fruit platter me thinks with my GS for afternoon tea. yummmmm.

Oh, oh, oh and guess what? I FORGOT to have a coffee with afternoon tea yesterday. Yehar!

Detox seems to be going smoothly- no headaches, but I am so thirsty. And I have pimples on my neck and um, bottom ewwww... not so many on my face tho, for which I am truly grateful!

My parcel from rawpleasure is waiting finally for me at the post office with my raw chocolate stuff in it (I've been sweating on it, apparently it was delivered to the wrong post office!)- I'm off to get it and make some for the first time!!!!  yahh

Take care special people XOXOXO

Hi everyone,

Lulu, hope you had as much fun as I did on that calculator- lol. The choccies I made look more like rocks than fine chocolates, but they taste...amazing... Next time I'll know to chop the cacao butter into tiny pieces- do you know how long I waited for the big chunks to melt in a bowl in the sink in warm water? Too long. And guess who had the idea to chop it up- my twelve yr old daughter. Well, der Mum...

My sweet tooth is still getting used to less refined sugar, so I actually dipped my choccies into a little raw agave nectar, and ooooohhhh, yummmm. Good stuff!

Went to the in-laws today, ate mum-in-law's cooked food, but didn't let it bother me. I love my in-laws and they wouldn't understand, so I just went with the flow.

Gotta go, hubby's waiting to use 'puter.

Hugs all XOXOXO

Hi guys,

Things are pretty sweet here, I'm having very simple food, and feeling really energetic and happy. And calm. I think that is actually the best bit. No more Cranky Mum!

The first time I tried raw (May 2007- I lasted around four months), I went raw really fast, and didn't eat enough, which led to very quick weight loss, lots of headaches and detox symptoms. This time is totally different. Thanks to this forum and the wonderful people on here that are willing to help and share, I'm more aware now how it all works. So thank you so much! yahh

I had put on a bit of weight especially around my middle over Easter (those Cadbury eggs have a lot to answer for!) Well, I'm happy to report that my clothes are fitting a little less snug. ohyeah Like I said, last time I lost a lot quite quickly and was kind of expecting the same this time. But it hasn't been as quick which is probably good.

The extra weight isn't really the issue tho- it is more about how I was feeling (tired, lifeless, bleh) and happily, this has changed immensely. I'm definitely heading over to the raw for 60 days challenge after this.

Hey, this is FUNNY. I just counted on my fingers and realised that my 10 day challenge actually finished on SATURDAY! I was thinking I had another day to go!!!!LOL LOL laugh What a crack-up! SOoooooo, I guess I'm heading over to the "love boat" now!

And to summarise... these ten days have been wonderful. I've let go of bread, milk, coffee (mostly), black and green tea, biscuits, cake, chocolate (this was a big one). And the thing is, I just don't even think about them anymore. It's completely comparable to when I gave up smoking when I was 20, and when I gave up drinking when I was 30. So I'm convinced I was addicted to those foods. I feel lighter both in body and in mind- just wonderful. Go raw! Go me! Go you! ohyeah ohyeah yahh ohyeah ohyeah
