the first time i saw starlings doing this was in the field next to the bluebell woods, i think a small child always looks to the sky....

My goodness that was amazing. I totally enjoyed every moment of that. Thank you so much for posting... It reminded me of seeing cells under a microscope on TV. No apparent reason for the way they move. Just mother nature doing what's right.

WOW!!!! That was absolutely amazing! I loved the way the birds rolled across the field like a gentle wave. We recently saw something similar but on a smaller scale in Melbourne.
