Last night I made a decision about my health and fitness, made a few enquiries and have locked myself into something that, even though I’m comfortable with the idea of it, it scares me a little because it means I’ll be putting myself out there.

But hey, I’ve been challenging myself on a regular basis in different areas of my life, and the feeling I get when I achieve my goals is so worth it.  And I’m looking forward to the hard work involved….I have lots of free time now so this decision is perfect, as always LOL.

I’m not going to share the details of my goal right now, as I don’t want to dissipate the energy.  All I’ll say is that I intend to increase my health and fitness and body shape dramatically.  And although I started juicing this week, I’ve decided to go back to wholefoods for the next 3 months and be 100% raw for winter.  Why 3 months?  Well, since today is June 1st, and it’s the first day of winter here in Australia, I figure I may as well continue to the end of August.....and beyond.

In general terms I'll be creating harmony in all areas of my life - physical, spiritual, mental and emotional.
Like an orchestra, it has lots of instruments playing their own part to create a beautiful melody.  That's what I intend to create for myself so I can be in harmony with the universe....and myself.

So my timetable for the coming week will look something like this:

4.00 ~ wake up, meditate for one hour plus metta.

6.00 ~ chi running barefoot on beach, plus gentle stroll.

7.30 ~ rebounding.

8.00 onwards ~ 100% raw food all day, fruit, green smoothies, fruit, salads, even more fruit.

10.00 ~ go to gym for weights or fitness workout with trainer.

11.00 – 5.00 ~ work at home, do errands and chores, graze on raw food.

6.00 ~ diluted fruit juice.

7.00 ~ rebounding.

8.00 ~ meditation and metta.

9.30 ~ Bed and blissful sleep.

Looks good in theory, lets see how it goes in reality.  I'm meeting a friend today and going to Green Day Out, then maybe to the Blues Festival afterwards.  That's why I'm starting this regime tomorrow  laugh

Go Sanga!!!! Rebounding is amazing. I'm loving every minute of it! I have a book and dvd on rebounding workouts if you would like to borrow them.

I had some very naughty friends today try and get me to have some Hare Krishna food, but I told them I had made a promise to myself to be 100% raw for the next 3 months (as I munched on an apple).   One friend said "oh, you can start tomorrow". huh I calmly replied that I had already started today LOL.   They thought it was funny I wouldn't tell them of my goal, they said the'd wait for me to be on the front page of the local paper.

I think they're a tad suprised because I always share everything with them.......not used to me being discerning.

I know she was only joking......anyway I had a great day with lovely people.  All worth it.  And they had big green garbage bins painted a different colour, clearly signed 'COMPOST ONLY' bins - Green Day Out - has to be expected  laugh

Day 3 and all is well LOL.

I've been staying up late chatting on the computer the last two nights, so my wake up time has been 6am.  What's a couple of hours sleep in compared to fun, stimulating conversations with a good friend?  I'm having a massage tonight though, so straight off to beddy byes afterwards.

I'm still getting my exercise in, rebounding, meditating, running and working at home.  And of course lots of raw yummy food.  I made a savory dip which I've been grazing on today with vege sticks, and of course lots of fruit throughout.  Just off to make a chia pudding now - my first.

I had a breakthrough today with a very, very old issue.  And while talking to Jennie yesterday - she was too busy to have lunch grrr Wink - I was moving my hips and my back started clicking like crazy........lots happening there too.

Hi Sanghama,

Love the name of your new journal! Harmony. It feels nice when you type it and it sounds nice when you say it out loud. Harmony harmony harmony...

Anyway, thanks for your pm- I've been wanting to reply, but I haven't figured out how yet!!! LOL technology eh!

Sounds like you're really embracing exercise as well! wow- all that in one day. I guess if I tracked myself on any given day I would be doing a lot more exercise than I think. And we have a new doggy (we took on a 2yo miniature poodle on Saturday- he's soooo gorgeous!), so now I have four kids to run around after (2 human, 2 doggy), whew!!

I find your posts so interesting Sangha, thanks!

Metta to you, Lovely xoxoxoxo

Hey Rawfairylady, so glad you got the pm.  If you click "reply" - at the top right of the message - write your message and then click on "send message" that will do it.   Don't let technology get the better of you, you can do this LOL.

Today has been an interesting one health wise.  I had the rest of my amalgam fillings removed  yahh, then went to the naturopath/RN to get some intravenous Vit C.  She did a full consultation, did some irridology and a live blood analysis.  And guess what?  I'm very healthy!  ohyeah

A few of my red blood cells are a smaller size than the others - which indicates low B12 or folate (I think) levels.  But I have an extremely strong constitution and just a small digestion issue to fix up, which I'm already doing.  And funnily my knees and ankles were the only other things that came up, probably because of my hip problems, and maybe my running again.  But again, not a problem.

And my veins - healthy as they were - didn't want to co-operate today, they kept 'bursting' or something like that, something to do with the valves.  So on the 4th attempt we were successful at getting the drip to function properly, with the naturopath holding my hand to keep the needle at the right angle - oh, how sweet lol.  And when I left I had pieces of cotton taped with thick white tape on each wrist.  I thought they looked like sweat bands, but apparently it looked like I'd attacked myself Huh

Not much exercise today, but I'll be back into it tomorrow.  And there's a wedding at Byron I'm going to, so lots of walking around the gardens, grooving, talking, laughing, etc.  As I said....exercise Wink

So I sit here slowly typing with an ice pack on my hand to stop any bruising occuring. And dipping my other index finger in the chocolate sauce LOL. Raw chocolate sauce of course!

Yaaaaaaay!!! You are doing so well. You look amazingly healthy. Your skin is like a babies. So soft and hydrated. Awesome. I hope that bruising wasn't too bad...

Not much bruising, just a bit on the back of my hand.

My skin's okay, still haven't recovered that awesome raw glow I've had in the past.  And I understand that - lots going on emotionally.  And yo-yoing between raw and cooked didn't help it either.

I'm going to a skin specialist to check out a possible skin cancer, get it diagnosed, and then treat it myself.  I was reminded this weekend of how to do this.

Guess what!!!!!   I'm going to a women's sweat lodge this afternoon - very short notice but definately worth it.  yahh   My skin will be glowing tonight.........as well as my aura LOL.

What a great support to being raw - the benefits of a steam room/sauna intertwined with spirituality and women's energy......sacred energy.  And I'm honouring myself by doing this.....I am worthy of doing this!

*skips off happily to choose some remedies for today*
