Awe...thanks precious Jenergy  rose (I loooooooooooooooooove your new name by the way!)

I've just got back from the city. Picked up organic juicing carrots and 2kg of organic salad mix.  ohyeah

I had fun buying some ingredients for a friend to make the chocolate pie Gosia made me a little while ago.  ohyeah

Oh, and also I met a new family that have just moved to my suburb that are into raw food! How exciting!  ohyeah

And also, I got talking someone today about running some raw food demonstrations...they sound keen to have me run some, yay!  ohyeah

I'm having mainly water, juice and smoothies this week. My body needs a rest, and I need the time to focus on other things.

Last but not least, I got to run some healthy activity fun with kids on Friday night also which was fun  ohyeah

Hmm, really need to do some exercise now.

Take care beautiful people Smiley

You know, I've never been a big fan of banana in my green smoothies...think it might have something with blending them on high speed and not just pulsing them...or maybe it could be also because sometimes my bananas have not been organic.

I'm currently finishing off a banana and salad mix smoothie Smiley

I just blended heaps of greens first with just enough water, then added the ripey nanas Smiley Worke like a treat.

The salad mix must have an aniseed type herb in it...it's made a deeeeeelish smoothie for sure!

If anyone has any ideas for some cacao powder recipe demonstrations please do share! I'm off to find Miss Giggles and co's inspirations Smiley

I'm glad you like the pics SW Smiley I had a lot of fun that day. So much to smile about in this life you know Smiley

Thank you so much Jen for my lunch's inspiration today (half way through it)! Check out the quick curry pizza recipe. Was going to be dinner last night. But a precious friend rang, and lets just say we talked more than 5mins Smiley then I kind of got past the hunger stage Smiley I just had a little nibble last night...putting some of the crust on a few cucumber rounds with a little of the two sauces Smiley Hmm, was quite deeeeeelish! I'm very grateful for the small portion last night, as this has been a wonderful treat eating this for lunch!

Today, I have made a large one on a dinner plate and added lots of finely shredded organic greens, pinapple and olives. I know not the best combo, just felt like a gourmet treat. Will see how the body handles it Smiley My bro says it's more like a volcano than a pizza, lol, haha. I'm happy with that description Smiley Lou's volcanic mouthwatering explosion :D The greens make it feel lighter...plus I added a fair bit of carrot to the base. Sorry, no pic, my dad has his camera with him today. Oh well, you'll just have to use your imagos Smiley

Thanks again Miss Inspiration! You rock!

Thank you so much for popping in, beautiful Neet Smiley It's so wonderful to have you grace us with your presence again  ohyeah Organic greens are a little hard to source here at the moment, but I manage to find some yesterday on my travels! YAY! I also bought some organic seeds of spinach, green mignonette and buttercrunch lettuce to plant, so I'm looking forward to harvesting my little crop of greens...hmm.

Have a wonderful day all! I'm thinking maybe it's time to put my smiley face back here, so I might go do that in a minute Smiley I'll love and leave you with this.

THE VALUE OF A SMILE Smiley

Smiley A smile costs nothing but creates much Smiley
Smiley It enriches those who receive without impoverishing those who give Smiley
Smiley It happens in a flash and the memory of it will last forever Smiley
Smiley None are so rich that they can get along without it, and none are so poor, but are richer with a Smiley
Smiley Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed or stolen,
for it is something that is no earthly good to anybody, 'til given away Smiley
Smiley And if it ever happens that some people should be too tierd to give you a Smiley, leave one of yours.
Smiley For nobody need a smile so much as those who have none left to give Smiley

a smile....so true.....most infectious thing we can ever do....more likely to spread happiness to all with a smile, than any words ever....every face is more beautiful with a smile....a smile needs no explanation its all that it is....and always makes the wearer of the smile feel better immediately...

hows the green smoothies going hon?

not many people can refuse a smile...very rarely a response to my smile, will be a look of what are you smiling at?and no smile in return, this is really really rare!!and makes my smile turn a little sad,for them....cos with that kinda parnoia wheres the joy in living....?

Hello sweetheart Smiley

Gee it feels great to get back to the forum! So lovely to read through your writings. Your smile is such a lovely one, as is your infectous (in a good way!) laugh!

I love how you have so many great ideas on ways to help people to be healthier and happier. You inspire me muchly.

Thanks for all the fun last Thursday - it was one of the funnest days I've had in ages. The sun, the food garden, chatting, forraging...You help my soul to sing  laugh I think I enjoyed picking magic little cauli florets as much as you Smiley And you know that plant i thought was curry plant but it tasted like perfume? lol, well turns out that was certainly not it, but there is a curry plant at my new place, so there is another herb for you to play with if you fancy! If you do end up putting on this dinner party for us lucky peoples I know your creations will be just stunning! And if you feel like being simple just chuck some fruit and grteens in baskets for us - I won't complain! Especially if we can have a picnic on one of these incredible Spring days Smiley

I just realised that all the trees I've been seeing around Hobart that I thought looked like loquat trees but couldn't possibly be because it's too cold for them to grow here (they thrive in Brisbane), actually are loquats! What's more, the little fruits will be ripe in a couple of months!

I think this Saturday is the day to put in a big order for Sach's arrival. I'd like to get it in early though to ensure greens and bananas (short supply). Even in the next couple of days.

I appreciate ripe bananas sooo much after our onslaught! I like mine much riper now, and gobble down brown bits knowing they taste great! For anyone reading, our organic wholesale supplier, lovely peoples, offered us over 10 boxes of very ripe bananas for free as the organic farmer who usually takes their compost was away and they didn't want to dump them. So our freezers are stocked with summer icecream/smoothie bananas!

On Saturday I stayed outside after dark and ate my massive bowl of greens with just 2 blood oranges blended with a little water, in the backyard, stargazing at the first star (or planet!)...beautiful....

Oh, and if you ever want to borrow my camera, for any of your food demos and such feel free. I'm planning on starting a new journal with lots of photos when I am settled our new place and have internet.

Enjoy this beautiful gusty September day! Lots of love xoxox   yahh
