Here's a wee superfood nutmilk that I whipped up for breakfast.
It is so good that in my head I am referring to it as "choc milk of the century".
It's probably not too different to other nutmilks I have mentioned elsewhere on this forum, but it never ceases to amaze me how good something like a raw nut milk smoothie can be.
Nutmilk1 cup of soaked & dehydrated almonds
3 cups of water
Whizz in the blender until nuts have broken down.
Sieve using a nutmilk bag.
Save the pulp for another fabulous creation, or pop into a freezer bag and freeze.
Superfoods AhoyPop the nutmilk back into the blender, and add the following:
1 frozen banana (frozen in pieces)
1 heaped dessertspoon of mesquite
1 dessertspoon cacao powder
1 dessertspoon bee pollen
1 dessertspoon maca
Tiny handful of cacao beans (why not)
Whizz whizz.
Outrageously delicious.
