Has anyone's eyes changed a completely different colour on raw?

When i introduced green smoothies they were brown and now they are dark almost black like whereas when i was just eating raw they were going lighter. I dont like to say it but i almost look evil eyes like lol. Does anyone know why this is so?

I had an irridology reading done when I'd been 3 months raw a few years ago - the therapist told me I was not so healthy because my eyes were changing from blue to green.  I stunned her by telling her that they were green and were turning blue - she told me I must be doing something really good to do that.

When I do earcandling days in the health food stores, some of the naturopaths go and check their eyes after a treatment, because they can see a difference.

The eyes can tell you everything about your health - just like looking at a map.

LOL i must be evil then hahaha nah. I must admit its only from far away they look black but shine brightly when i look upclose in the mirror. The little sunspot looking thing i had in my eye dissapeared. My hubby told me to stop complaining because winter makes the eyes look darker and that i should wait till summer comes.

Tee hee. My brothers eyes used to be dark brown like mine and have gone green in the last 10 years or so. My mum's eyes used to be nearly black but are now nearly blue. She eats a lot of salt and apparently they are salt rings.

It should be expected that if eating a raw balanced diet your eyes should become brighter clearer and the whites whiter, as the body cleanses, often as healing takes place the little brown spots will disappear indicating healing taking place.

I'm wondering if some people's eyes are more relective of the inner condition than others.  There are plenty of people getting around with blue eyes and I'm sure they're not too healthy on the inside.  And yet maybe it's the salt rings!  Like many people, mine are predominantly brown.  I'm still waiting to see if that changes now that I have become more strict about sticking with the raw thing full time.......

I think you still start with a hereditory (sp?) colour but that you can change it through food.  I went to a homeopath earlier this year and he said that my eyes were naturally green but that because of my horrible horrible digestion they were showing as brown, I've already started seeing a change in the colour of mine to more green.

To clarify a little about Irridology; there are a lot of 'lines, rings and dots" in the eyes that contribute to the colour of the eye.  There are mucous indications, skin indications that tell of poor skin elimination, high acid, poor digestion etc. these can all lead to the colour of the eye being 'distorted' (perhaps is the better word for it).  True there are many eyes taht are blue and brown and green that all look 'healthy' but all of them will have indications with in them that will allow a truely skilled irridologist to determine illness and disease.  The colour of the eye and any 'markings' will alter naturally over a period of months and years as the body responds to the change of diet.  This time factor of course is influenced by the age of the person and their initial health and well being prior to adopting a raw food diet.   smiley

I've been asked via pm about my mothers eye color. As seems common in our maternal female line my mother has very low blood pressure. The doctor told her to keep up her blood pressure by eating loads of salt. So she did. She has high salt everything.

But I don't think she has quality salt. Perhaps she does now but before it was just plain old iodised table salt. Her eyes are not an attractive blue but more sludgy. Actually it probably would be an attractive blue if it were somewhere else. They are still darker towards the centre of the eye but blue around the edge.

My mother is not a heathy eater. She has loads of vegetables usually baked in oil or butter or boiled. She loves her butter and will often have it spread so thickly that we would ask, "Would you like a salada with your butter there?" but in humour.

My eyes have not changed colour at all. They are still brown. They are more smiley though!

my eyes have always been green...but are now a more vibrant green///and super super clear!i use to have more brown dots in my iris, esp in the left eye...which are barely there anymore....

changes in eyes, are just an added side benefit to being healthy and raw and happy...naturally occuring...

i certainly dont believe the hoo harr that everyone is meant to have blue eyes...what bollocks!

and yup ive seen some people who dont eat a shred of veg or fruit and drink alcohol and coke, and they have the most vibrant blue eyes..hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm albeit surrounded by blood shot dull whites,,,but still blue!!lol Undecided

It's more what goes on within the blue, brown, green etc to see what is happening on the inside of the body. Which you really need a magnifying glass for. They could be vibrant but if you look closely at the iris to study the depth, consistency etc THAT is when you will see the bodily issues at hand.

It is a biological fact though that the only true iris colours are blue and brown. Sorry RGG.
