Hey there Jaydubs,
saw your post and thought I'd give you a recipe of mine for chocolate crackles.
there's a photo of them on flickr, link below:

You might want to play around with the amounts, I only made these two or three times as I don't have much time at the moment. I'm hoping to do some more gourmet stuff and perfecting recipes soon as I'll have some time coming up. Exciting!
Sprouted dehydrated buckwheat is very 'crackly' like.

Meg's Raw Chocolate Crackles (nut free)
All volumes are approximate as I'm not big on exact measurements... sorry!
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons of coconut oil
1-2 tablespoons of agave nectar or other sweetener
2 tablespoons of desiccated coconut
1 tablespoon of cacao powder (or more if desired)
1 tablespoon of sprouted dehydrated buckwheat (more can be added)
Pinch of salt dissolved in minimum of water
Melt coconut oil by immersing the bowl in a larger bowl filled with hot water.
Add sweetener and stir, add cacao powder and salt water and stir until thoroughly mixed.
Add coconut and buckwheat and mix completely in.
Place mixture into medium to small paper muffin trays and store in fridge or freezer.
Enjoy!
