Ok so the title is just silly! But I am trying to lighten up these days. Not overthink things too much. YK?

I figured new beginning, new name - new journal was the natural next step. Though I don't have any dillusions that anyone actually pays any attention to my ramblings. It just feels good to have a place to ask questions, spout about our experiences and share recipes.

I wanted to share a pic of the seedlings I planted the other week. Here they are when they were only hours in their new soil. I have a pot on either side of the door.

We have pots at the back door too that we all pick pieces from as we walk past. And I have dug a small patch at the back of the yard for my main supply of greens. We aren't meant to be here long, so pots was a great option and it keeps the greens accessible to the kids. And here is my helper

Here is our newest visitor. Isn't she lovely!

Grace has named her Bumblebee because of her stripes.

We were in K-mart a few weeks ago and Grace spotted a plastic treehouse for fairies that came with wheatgrass and clover seeds to sprout in it.

It was cute and she really wanted it, but at the moment she is learning about shopping Footprints and we are trying to avoid red footprint items. Challenging when it comes to toys.

Anyway, we went to an op-shop a few days later and found a plastic treehouse for $1 and it got me thinking about how we could make something like the one from the shop.

I supplied a pot tray from the shed and thyme from the garden. The rest Grace found in her room or in the garden. She put it all together and this is how it came out...

It has been a couple of weeks and everything is growing happily. She spends lots of time raking, watering, playing and enjoying it.

I have started a juice fast for the weekend. I will go from this morning until Monday morning. With water all day Saturday.

I haven't done a lot of juice fasting in the past but I think I should be able to handle a few days. I went and got a load of fruit and vegies this morning and found myself salivating as I was looking at silverbeet so it has been in all of my juices today.

Dinner in a glass!

Peace and love to you.

Hello Savvy W.,

Although I am a pretty regular lurker here, I've not felt the need as yet to come in out of that raw cold! I've followed your journey for a while now, and, congratulations! you have dug me from my position behind the arras!

I've been moved to write about my admiration of your dignity and strength, and your taking of this opportunity to find the life you wish to lead. In short, to grow (up, out and in every positive direction), and to find your own parameters of acceptability and of joy, and Life.

I wish you heartfelt Congratulations on your latest results. I know you will never look back, and that the negative that you've been challenged by, will now be the dragon slayed en route to your own Life's happiest endings.

Sincerely, all the best to you.

Teary is good in my book! There are all sorts of tears, and yours are good ones.

I know it's a shock to know there are people "out there" (in all senses!) who are on the periphery of your life, or even, wishing you best wishes despite not knowing you; but...isn't that what makes Life something else?

Bless you, and keep your Faith,

EM

Lots of positive vibes happening in the new space. Love it.

I know it's a shock to know there are people "out there" (in all senses!) who are on the periphery of your life, or even, wishing you best wishes despite not knowing you; but...isn't that what makes Life something else?

EM that is exactly how I felt. I was trying to find a way to articulate my surprise and of course delight at having had support from outside of my periphery, as you so aptly put it. I am also humbled by it because I know that it has been not just my own energy that has aided the process. It gave me a moment of 'oneness', YK?

Hiya Smiley, love your pics on your blog. Yumm! Your Choc Hazelnut Pie sounds so delicious. Hazelnuts are one of my favourite things and adding choc and strawberries is bound to be a winning combination. Thanks for popping by.

We've had some very wet weather so we've spent most of the day indoors. The kids were quite restless this afternoon (their normal time to be playing outside) so we put on some music and danced the arvo away. It was fun and fabulous! Quite a good workout too.

I am still having juice, though had a piece of watermelon this morning. That's basically juice right?! lol Starting to get that empty, light feeling that comes from avoiding the heavier foods. I made a light peppermint tea this afternoon (fresh leaves in warm water) and that perked me up too.

Have a great night all. Peace and love.

Furries always welcome Sang. I am in furries, wrapped in a blanket, socks on and a hot water bottle under my feet. Cosy.

I just PM'd you Jen! The house was resident to a snail for a few days and the plants all survived, luckily. It is now home to a beetle and a caterpillar. Our very own guesthouse. Hope you're day is going well.

I am feeling a little jaded today after a long weekend, late nights and being really busy for the last few days. I had a workout this morning (30mins elliptical trainer, 5tb's) and have been drinking loads of water. An early night and I should be back on top of things.

We went up the coast over the weekend and saw some awesome views.

Though our poor little camera was struggling to capture them.

DH went surfing and the kids and I played in the dunes, built sandcastles, collected shells, seaweed and odd little pieces from along the water's edge and up in the cliffs. It was great to be a child for a few hours and look at things with fresh eyes. We played, explored and all found something new.

On the way back there was a shower going over the hills and the light was making rainbows. It looked like the Northern Lights, but on a much more humble scale. It moved right along the range out to see.

From the beach we went up river for a walk and found some mangroves and some birds that I've never seen before. I have been on the net trying to find out what they were. They looked like a cross between and penguin and a duck.

It's a light food day. Melon Monday I call it. Watermelon for breakfast and lunch, followed by rockmelon for dinner. Yum!

Have a wonderful week all.

I've just been searching around Cafepress and found a design that said "I'm happy when I'm eating watermelon" in a pretty girlie script! LOL...

Savvy those photos are phenomenal! I love them. What a gorgeous place. I must pop over for a cuppa one day when you are not feeling so jaded. Yawn! Feeling a little that way myself!

Have a great nights sleep and be all perky and larfy again tomozz!

You sure can but not through my store. If you go to cafepress.com and search watermelon you'll see loads of designs. I larfed really hard at the ones for pregnant ladies that said "I'm not pregnant, I stole a watermelon" or "I ate a watermelon seed". Tee hee.

Here is the shirt I was talking about though. I didn't see the other watermelon ones there until now. There are some great designs. http://shop.cafepress.com/design/19864511
