Ok so the title is just silly! But I am trying to lighten up these days. Not overthink things too much. YK?
I figured new beginning, new name - new journal was the natural next step. Though I don't have any dillusions that anyone actually pays any attention to my ramblings. It just feels good to have a place to ask questions, spout about our experiences and share recipes.
I wanted to share a pic of the seedlings I planted the other week. Here they are when they were only hours in their new soil. I have a pot on either side of the door.

We have pots at the back door too that we all pick pieces from as we walk past. And I have dug a small patch at the back of the yard for my main supply of greens. We aren't meant to be here long, so pots was a great option and it keeps the greens accessible to the kids. And here is my helper

Here is our newest visitor. Isn't she lovely!

Grace has named her Bumblebee because of her stripes.
We were in K-mart a few weeks ago and Grace spotted a plastic treehouse for fairies that came with wheatgrass and clover seeds to sprout in it.
It was cute and she really wanted it, but at the moment she is learning about shopping Footprints and we are trying to avoid red footprint items. Challenging when it comes to toys.
Anyway, we went to an op-shop a few days later and found a plastic treehouse for $1 and it got me thinking about how we could make something like the one from the shop.
I supplied a pot tray from the shed and thyme from the garden. The rest Grace found in her room or in the garden. She put it all together and this is how it came out...

It has been a couple of weeks and everything is growing happily. She spends lots of time raking, watering, playing and enjoying it.
I have started a juice fast for the weekend. I will go from this morning until Monday morning. With water all day Saturday.
I haven't done a lot of juice fasting in the past but I think I should be able to handle a few days. I went and got a load of fruit and vegies this morning and found myself salivating as I was looking at silverbeet so it has been in all of my juices today.

Dinner in a glass!
Peace and love to you.
