Of course! Just declare yourself in and then you are!

I'm still raw although have had some very high fat days. I start out well and then before you know it... olives. Who can help it? I'm in love with them. And they are so good in just about any non fruit salad. Yummmm!

I'm pretty happy with where I'm at with my raw eating though. Branching out and trying new things. I had a salad today of greens from my garden, pineapple, orange and sultanas. The greens were really strong so I made a sauce of dates and orange juice. It wasn't the best salad I've eaten but was a far cry from the worst! It would have been better with a mild lettuce.

Have an awesome day!

YAY I am in!!

Hi everybody!!

Most of you have probably seen me here before although I  have not been posting much lately I have still been raw and still leaning towards 811.

Normally my day starts in the gym followed by fruit all day until dinner where I might have 1T olive oil or maybe 2T of nuts used in a salad or a soup. So still trying to be as low fat as possible.

Hope you are all having an awesome day

Just a quick pop my head in to say I am still doing raw just had a few very busy days which dont look like they will ease up. But will get back in I promise.

I have had a few slip ups like I said the other day when I slip up it takes me weeks to get back on. But at least I have been eating more raw. Like I had a handfull of chips yesterday and then had a juice for dinner, normally it owuld be stuff dinner have cooked. So I am definetly changing my way of thinking.

Sorry have to go will be back later or tomorrow I promise *mental note make more time for RP*

Hey there Eve, glad u are joining us! (although i have been rather absent) Sounds like you are doing great having fruit all day then a little fat at night.  I found my energy increased substantially after I omitted oil from my diet, im also nut-free freelea these days ;-D Low fat is definitely great for the skin too, I seem to be averaging a half avo every 1-2weeks, will probably have a little more in the colder months but for now this is ample. Look forward to following your progress.

Hey Jen, I don't think i've actually tried those olives you are having but I know the peruvian ones I was eating on occasion in Sydney last year were very addictive, not enough sweetness for me so I used to stick them in an date! ohhh not the best combo.

Pinky glad to see you poppin' in :-) Do you think you are going back to cooked food here and there because of a lack of fruit in your diet? I know the only time I ever start thinking about cooked food is when I'm not eating enough fruit.  The body runs exclusively on glucose.

I have also made the connection between 'binge-eating'/overeating to a mal-absorbtion of sugar issue  due to lots of miscombining, resulting in hunger no matter how full I was.. as soon as I consciously combine properly the urge to overeat leaves.  To think all these years I thought I had a binge-eating problem...I was just hungry. Also whatever food/combo is passing through my intestines governs my mood in that moment. Some food for thought.

I second that mental note too Pinky x

didnt we put a date with everything those days Free~za...he he,just shows we werent eating enough fruit hey...

i had the most delish nori rolls tonight, filled with loads of lettuce and cukes tomatos fresh coriander raw corn and raw asparagus and little avo mooshed up...

i def have to watch my fat intake, cos my liver just freaks if i have a whole avo or more than 20 maca nuts with a big green salad for dinner....mmm good....maca nuts fresh and raw are scrummy...most important though is my fruit intake for the day..thats our energy fodder and satiates the appetite soo well!!

in a way i am so glad that my liver cant handle much fat, best deterrent really is feeling nauseous if i even slightly over do it..lol

I'm thrilled with my raw journey. The shift I experienced a few weeks ago just seems to have reinforced my raw confidence. Another first for me today. We decided this morning to go to the Gold Coast show today. I wasn't really keen as I don't really like crowds and show environments but I could see that Bill and the kids were really keen and we were in need of a family day so off we went. I didn't get time to make myself a meal to take so took half a bunch of celery that I'd cut into sticks and about 8 apples.

I ate those and, in the end some sultanas that Caitlyn brought and NOTHING ELSE! Werhay! I'm so pleased. The smell of fried food was everywhere. In the end I was champing at the bit for chips. Bill and the kids had them for dinner and I was sitting there while they ate them and there was a part of me that wanted them but a bigger part didn't. So I had another apple. Couldn't care less if I ever saw another apple but I'm happy with myself and the rest of the family regretted the chips so *blurt*

I didn't have my usual GS today. I made myself David Wolfe's 'ultimate smoothie' (can be searched out on youtube) with some trepidation. But I have to say that I really enjoyed it and felt great for hours afterwards with no crashing or anything. I felt amazing.

Here's a pic:

In it was cacao nibs, powder and butter (about a Tbs of each), goji berries  (about 1/2 cup), raspberries and blueberries (loads!), water, macadamias and agave. Delicious. I wouldn't have it every day as I'm not active enough to have that much fat in my diet but I really enjoyed this and it's definitely a new thing in my diet. Yummmm!

Tomorrow... GS! Yippeee!

Not enough fruit hay Free...... I never even thought about it. I know I dont eat anywhere near the amount of fruit or veg that you guys eat. So I will give it a go and see how I go with it... Thanks so much for the heads up.

Jennie that smoothy looks devine.

I am very tired and drained today Islie didnt sleep very well last night so my eyes are bolging (sp?) out of my head..... She was awak every 1.5 hours so I only had about 4 hours sleep all night. Oh well this too will pass.

Pete and I are taking the kids for a train ride tomorrow. There are these little trains (you sit on top of them) that run around in a park near mum and dads. So that should be fun then we might take the kids the park. I have been feeling lately that we dont get out of the house enough. So I have joined one of my friends mothers group which we went to the library on Wednesday and both Connor and Bella loved being able to play with other kids. So we have decided that every weekend we have to take the kids somwhere at least even if it is just to a local park to play and have a swing.

Food today has been fantastic I have made a new salad dressing with Avo, dill, chilli, lemon juice, Tahini, and it is yum yum yu I am really enjoying it. I also made the 'mashed potatoes' and 'Mushroom gravey' from RawVolution book today and oh my goodness yum yum yum I have only eaten half but that is okay more for tomorrow. But will definately be having that again.

Time to jump into bed (I know I know its not even 9 but if you have a 4 month old you would understand hehehehe) So tomorrow is a busy day so I dont know if I will get on but lots and lots of love to you all

Can I come in?? Thanks Free for telling me about this thread.
I am back to raw now after a pretty disastrous 6 months.
I am going to do a week at least of bananas and greens. I might go longer if all goes well. My first grandchild is due in December and I plan on being a "groovy granny". That involves losing at least 20 kilos and getting very fit.
I am back at the gym and will also start more walking and swimming.
Day 1

so far just a few bananas as I had to go to the dentist!!
About to have a green smoothie.

Hey Jenny, nice to see you again! It's been awhile. A groovy granny hey! Good for you. I can see you with one of those awesome 3 wheeler prams running and everyone thinking you are the mummy and being totally amazed when they find out you are not! LOL. Great to see you...

Still raw I'm happy to say. I'm still high fat too which I have mixed feelings about but I'm going with it to see what happens. I'm just craving fats! Mainly olives and that smoothie from the other day but also avocados. I'm also having big salads but there is no way that anyone could call my eating low fat or medium fat.

Ah well. See where it leads!
