WE are a family with a strong interest in raw foods, looking for a place to live in the Mullumbimby area. We have lived for the past five years in Mid wales in the United Kingdom. Recently we spent three months living and working on a rawcommunity in Southern Spain. We have experience in organic and permaculture gardening methods.
We have three children aged 3, 5 and 9. Its our plan that our children attend the Mullumbimby Steiner school.

We are looking for any accomodation possibilities but would be interested in the possibility of staying on a community and doing some WWOOF style work exchange. Our dream would be to live in a community that had established fruit trees and gardens.

If anyone has any info about possibilities in the area we would love to hear.

Love and Light xx

Mullumbimby is lovely!  We live on the southern end of the Gold Coast, but go there most weeks to meet up with a group of unschoolers that are just awesome.

Have you tried contacting the Steiner school to see if they can place an ad in their newsletter for you?

Good luck!

Hey Annette, I think I know you!  Is that the unschooling group that meets out at Durumbal Hall?  I think I met you there when they had the sock puppet making day a couple of months ago??

We occassionally venture up from Lismore to join in on the fun there.

Becky, are you WWOOFING members?  When you become a member you get a book full of wwoofing hosts and there are heaps in the northern rivers area (and a raw foodist or two I recall).

Hugs,
Jacki

Hi everyone, Thankyou for your suggestions. We just got a place yesterday at Rosebank-so very excited, plenty of macas and mangos on the property and a wonderful little twist-there is a raw food connection there-so a great piece of magic from the universe. Looking forward to getting to know all of you in the area. Lovexxxxxx

Hey Becky, Rosebank is such a nice area.  Great to hear you have a place.

ps: better keep it quiet about the mangos otherwise you will have an infux of raw fooders from around the area decending on you LOL
